This started about 4 weeks ago when driving along the Park Aid Unavailable alarm sounded ( Contact Dealer ). When I next started the car the reverse camera and all sensors were working - no alarm - and I drove for 10 minutes before the alarm went. Each time the alarm goes the reverse camera and sensors stay 'dead' until after stopping and a pause ( which I assume is the car resetting. Looking through the 'probable causes' it seemed the boot lid loom was a favourite - so purchased a new loom and fitted it - but no change.
I have checked all the sensors and can find no problems. The alarm seems to be now acting sooner than before so if I do get any period with reverse camera it is only a short period before it trips. Has anyone else experienced and more importantly cured this fault. Car going to garage on Thursday for diagnostics !!! But would be helpful if I knew what to expect.
