Question Differential output shaft caliper mounting bolt

Can anyone shed some light on the correct installation of the bolts holding the caliper mount brackets/output shaft brackets, Salisbury diff.>
The manual talks of lockwire of the 5 bolts, yet the bolts on my recently bought diff have no holes on them.
They do however have remains of what looks like Loctite blue.
Was this a later methodology replacing the wire?

Since I am asking questions (!) the Jaguar manual talks of using Loctite AAV on the shaft spline in the hub carrier.
I cannot find AAV on the net. I did find AV. Is there a more modern replacement?
P.S. Loctite themselves have not replied to my email !
