Hey guys, recently an f type r just came up and I was thinking of swapping my v6 for it. I have always had a lust for the svr and if I go for it I am going to do a full SVR bodykit conversion. However the R on sale has a hideous oem fixed spoiler.

Does anyone know if I can remove this for the SVR deployable spoiler as I believe the car doesnt even have the deploy spoiler button you would normally get.

Worst case, I am willing to go no spoiler or just a small ducktail trunk spoiler possibly from arden, but this brings another great question.. Will having no deployed spoiler or a small trunk spoiler affect handling at high speeds? Thank you and hoping to gain some help and knowledge.

 

The OEM fixed spoiler is far from being hideous - are you sure it's an OEM one?
