Default Symposer modification

but not what you think
Has anyone replaced it or modified it so that it is always open/on? I tried the delete and while quite, doesn't seem as fun. I figure if it is going to be loud and obnoxious in a very British way outside might as well try the same inside the cabin. If not I can always put it back.
Ideas on what to use as a membrane or how to make it always active are welcome.

I guess your the only one?
I have been thrilled that I got rid of that POS Symposer and all the garbage connected to it. It's off my car and in the trash where it belongs!
It emits the strangest assortment of sounds like some kind of retarded farting mechanism?

I am trying to get the SC whine without all the crap. This car is a plaything so just trying different things out.
I agree it is an unnecessarily complicated item for what it does and probably doesn't do it that well.
I am still an 8 year old boy with cars which might explain this

Oh that I understand but the Symposer is not what you want to work on?
Open up the intake? Cone filters and no air box? Remove the engine cover? We have a number of threads on SC whine.
I have not done any of that but others have.

I think if your thread was titled "How about more SC whine?" You would have gotten answers from guys who have done this?
Lets hope a few read your thread and reply? The Symposer title threw people off about what you were really asking?

Exactly this. The symposer will actually get in the way of that objective.

Hmm, I was under the impression that the symposer would help with SC whine since it connects to the SC, that is why I titled it what I did. I have done everything except connect directly to the intake as I didn't want to add any holes or disturb airflow. This is about the only thing I can add beyond what has been suggested. Foster SC Mods, but again don't want to drill the CAI
Yes Luc except add another 0
Edit, I found a thread on just removing the symposer and connecting a tube with a block off at the firewall. This is what I was thinking, but was going about how to add the block off and what to make it from for the best effect. You can't just add a tube without some sort of block off since it is under boost.

I am confused again? With the port blocked off how will any noise come out?
You have the answer and it's to open up the air boxes and air filters to get more SC scream? It's a common thing to do if you want more noise?

That is what I am trying to figure out from a diaphragm perspective. Look at my sig I can't open the intake up anymore
Externally the SC whines like a banshee, internal to the cabin can't hardly hear it.

Roll the windows down?

I suppose you could bypass the symposer and connect the intake port directly to the diaphragm unit on the firewall, although I would never do so. Would it do what you want? I don't know. You're on your own there.

Windows down works great except when it is 11 billion degrees here
No problem, just wanted to check before going out on my own. will report back if anything amazing happens

Do you have the lower or full Mina intake system? I’ve got the Yellow Wolf one (just lower) and I only hear it if Dynamic mode is off. With Dynamic on, I only hear the exhaust.

Full Mina air intake- Upper, lower and cone filters. That is the problem mine is dynamic all the time as in straight piped or near enough.
