Default The Whites

I see many F Paces that are white in the wild. But, I have only seen one XKR and it was an offwhite/creme color which was a beauty! I'm having trouble telling the difference between the three whites. I don't care for the flat/dull colors ~ prefer a little sparkle. Has anyone seen any of the whites and/or have pics?

Thank you

Completely irrelevant - but my first "Jag" was white. It was a 1976 Daimler Double Six Coupe, in "Old English White". It was slightly cream in tone and was a gorgeous colour. The interior was the darkest shade of blue.

I don't have a picture of it any more; I owned that car in the days before digital cameras and I've lost the pictures I had from those days. I found a public image of one but for some reason I can't upload it.

I don't have any pictures, but automotive whites are usually categorized as such;

Pure white solid (no metallic)

Metallic white

Saddle, or satin, or ivory or whatever the soft slightly creamy white is called by different manufacturers which usually has metallic.

I have to agree that I’m partial to “the right” white.

Sparkle isn’t the important criteria. Its the shade. I find a few shades of “winter white” quite luxurious. Unfortunately, I’ve only seen the version I prefer, on an RR. without a metallic flake.

Cheers.

I test drove this eff type while having my XKR serviced - was ok - V6 was quite nippy - that said I'm not a real fan of white cars:
