I has a DCS message appear and my brakes were making a strange noise with a shudder on the brake pedal, diagnosed as the rear offside brake sensor which was replaced and now my brakes are working properly again, EXCEPT that I still have the amber traction light flickering ON / OFF when my ignition is on and when driving. There are no codes showing on the OBD reader, it is showing no faults at this time.

Any clues as to why the traction light is pulsating and how do I clear the unknown fault??

 

Reading between the lines, was the initial diagnosis (for the DCS message) performed by a shop? You then mentioned a new symptom (amber traction light flickering) but no codes on an OBD reader. I take it this reader was a different unit?

For the first diagnosis (brake sensor), that scanner had to be capable of reading Chassis fault codes. These are in the format of C followed by 4 (or more) numbers, such as C1234. If you are now trying to read chassis codes again, most "OBD readers" can only read Powertrain codes, which will start with a P, such as P1234.
