Default “Total Loss” 2007 XKR Coupe auction

Interesting auction with a Canadian based 2007 XKR Coupe, which has a branded title as a Total Loss. Two accidents on the car, and the auction is a No Reserve I wonder if it will even go for $10,000.

The car is actually in Canada. In California, that type of title is referred to as "revived salvage" title rather than "total loss" title.

Given the number of XK and XKRs on BaT right now, I don't see it going for much of a price.

Hmmm, "revived salvage". I love the ever changing terminology. What component was "revived"?! Or was it just dragged from the scrap heap?!
No thanks, I'll pass, thanks.

It had been originally from the U.S,A. So it can pass customs without an import duty.

Thanks Cee Jay, appreciate this.
Btw, I don’t think that the link will disappear, as BaT will keep it archived from here to perpetuity.

I just checked that auction and read the comments. Wow! My bet is that it will set the record for the cheapest X150 XKR sold to date. IMO, the seller will be lucky to get $10K.

Sure, it looks great. But you can't tell a book by its cover. The rebuilt title is just one of the problems. Actual mileage is the other. Without knowing the details of all the damage, the identity of the repairs facility and their qualifications and competence to do aluminum chassis and body work, the finished product is a crapshoot.
