cloth is usually cooler and softer but will stain discolor, and let more sweat, water, big gulps get to the foam and it might eat it away faster
Leather will wipe clean easier and will be harder wearing but can get hot/sticky. but you have increased upkeep
Vynil can look pretty good these days and has the advantages of leather with slightly easier care. If you get marine grade with uv protections it can be pretty tough. but all the disadvantages to go with it as well.

I got front and rear for the 98’ XJR and they’re holding up fine.

@ addicted: Do I understand correctly that you ordered from Lseat and received the goods? When?
I seriously thought about ordering from them many years ago, but then I found very bad reviews, plus, I used google streetview to look at their address - and they actually were not to be seen on google street view - the address was the address of a shopping centre, and none of the signs there said "Lseat"...
PS: To clarify: The bad reviews I read were that they actually do not deliver the ordered and paid seat covers - it took them more than half a year or a year, I read. Also, I read back then, when I checked it out years ago, that they went supposedly bust years before, i.e. bankrupt, which fitted well in with the information that they do not deliver and they the street address cannot be confirmed with google street view, and that any question of mine to them took them very long to reply to...
So is all that wrong? Or was all that correct year ago and is Lseat now back in business and do they deliver now?

@Peter_from_Australia I went back through my emails and I purchased the interior 8/2019. I did have to send my rear seat material to their/his shop. Offhand I didn’t see the address I sent it to so I don’t know about their current dynamics. I know a lot of companies went ***’s up when covid hit.

That was the same I was about to do - sending my seat covers to them as template - which is why I had the address - it was probably in 2021, I guess.
But as I wrote, I found worrying reviews and I checked out their address with google streetview and saw there nothing resembling an Lseat-shop.... - and as a consequence of that I chickened out, after I already pulled off the seat overs off my seats and wrapped them up ready to sent them across the pond...
PS: I'd be glad, if I would hear several voices now saying that Lseat has changed and has become a real option meanwhile, cause I am after some seat covers, I I got no idea, where to go...

When I get the chance, I’ll see if I can find the address in my other phone and I’ll PM you the address I have. Concerning the X308, you no longer have to send them in as they have the template for the XJ8, XJR & VP. But I do understand your concern (and everybody else’s) not wanting to push the go button.
