Default What brand of wheel is worth a damn?

My front is Nevis is cracked and since that is that, I want two stock Nevis rears to replace both fronts.
Since used Nevis wheels for XKs are VERY hard to find since every seller thinks that the XF wheel is the same thing, and they are hundreds of 'monies' more than they should be, I'm looking at getting four aftermarket wheels for my XKR.

The interwebz if full of Chinese garbage.
What is a good wheel brand that isn't outrageously priced? Forged would be nice, but I don't need $10,000 worth of circular machined billet aluminum.
Custom is mandatory since my sizes will be different than stock.

If I don't find anything decent and reasonable, I'll suck it up and get my cracked wheel welded. I'm not going to race it anyway, so no noise about "you'll kill yourself".

Get it welded or buy the 2 nevis. Wheels are crap nowdays unless youre spending upwards of 4k

Cee Jay, thanks to you I found my Nevis wheels fairly easily.........In the EU. I just searched Ebayuk and Ebayit with the part number. The Italy wheels showed up in 3 days via DHL. From memory I was into a full set for under $650.

The cheapest front single wheel I can find anywhere on the entire interwebz is $729 plus $75 shipping on eBay.
If I got two rears to replace the fronts, it's about $550 each plus shipping for unrefinished used ones, but ZERO of them are the correct offset for XKs. Every single one is ET66.

They'd have to be almost two inches to get 'em back to where they should be. I hate spacers anyway, especially on the front.

According to the first seller with the new nevis wheel he only excludes "Afghanistan, Libya, Nauru, Russian Federation, Somalia, Ukraine, Yemen" from postage. I would try to get in contact with him.

I regularly buy parts in UK. My experience is although a shipping to Germany in the offer is excluded, after a personal contact the seller often accept it. A new Nevis for this price is worth a try.;-)

That guy only has one wheel. I would need two rears.
