April 2010 Pics
It's been a great start of the car season so far. I've had my Jag out of storage for a month and already put over 250 miles on it.
I also used it while instructing at a car control clinic with the local BMW club. Here are some action shots taken by one of the guys from the BMW club.
Also been making friends with some of the other local Jag guys.
Recently also attended a Jag club event in which we viewed a club members private collection which including 5 etypes and a beautiful XK-120.

Thanks guys.
Instructing at the car control clinic was great since I had never had the opportunity to really cut loose with the E type in a closed course/safe environment. While the students were in the classroom, the instructors received about an hour of free time on the course to slide our cars around. At the end, we also had a mock autocross and I enjoyed using the torque of the XK engine to power the car sideways through some of the turns.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Plan to get the Jag out some this weekend.
The guy who had the car collection also had another room with about 15 classic American cars. Some really beautiful stuff like C1-C2 corvettes, old Cadilacs and also a Continental convertible with suicide doors (like in the opening credits of the TV show, Entourage).
