Burnouts...Why My Service Tech & I Get Along!
#21
Hell no. Why thrash the unmerciful sh*t out of your own car?
Just kidding.
A few years ago, when I was on a Mustang forum, some dealer techs made a video of them driving a guy's Mustang like madmen.....just driving the **** outta the thing....and then posted it !
I guess they never thought that the owner just might be a member of the forum!
Well, he was....and herecognized it as his car and, boy, was there hell to pay !
99% of dealer techs are responsible people, though.
Cheers

People who treat their Jags like that either have big bank accounts to pay for the massive repair & maintenance bills they will incure, or very small brains....perhaps both.
Burnouts in an STR don't even look that cool....they look out of place.
The STR has too much class to let it lose its composure like that. Everyone knows the STR can roast the rubber off the tires...why prove it?

Cuz it's fun. If someone wants to have some occasionally, go for it. If they break something, it's not your money they're spending.
To say that someone having a little fun has a "small brain" is extraordinarily stupid of you. Just because it doesn't line up with your idea of what's "proper" doesn't mean the person is any less intellignet. Sorry, not trying to jump on you, but that kind of thing really gets on my nerves.
FWIW I enjoy the occasional small burnout and LOVE roasting cars at the local drag strip that don't expect a big Jag to be remotely fast. I don't do big smokescreens like that unless I'm replacing the tires, but damn are they fun.

just a quick question from a newbie .
Reading through the comments about DSC, i started thing, my jag is a AWD auto, is it normal for it not to have DSC, was kinda shocked when i found out it doesn't, especially since it is one of the higher spec models.
If i'm being thick, i apologise
Cheers
