UK South East (Sussex/Surrey/Kent/Hants/London)
Hi there,
I am looking to see who might be interested in a meet between now and Christmas.... maybe a family day out/Jag meet type of thing. I *know* that there is quite a few of us in the south east, and it would be great to maybe all meet on the coast for a day - make it a real chance for all of us to meet up, swap know how and ideas, and have some family fun...
If you might be up for it please drop me a line and lets get organised...
All the best
Steve

Many thanks for the help Jim - I've been here a year and still do not know how many people are this end of the country etc... :-)
I honestly think it would be great if a meet can be organised - make some friends, exchange tips ideas and if a family day out it'll hopefully encourage more meets and more of a social circle within the families that have Jaguars.
If people do show interest it would probably be realistic to aim for late Oct or early Nov... Brighton Pier comes to mind as a possible as plenty of parking right on the seafront and could get quite a few of us parked up in there - hopefully also raising some outside interest :-)
*anyone* who is up for this *please* drop me a line...

I would suggest that all / any or at least most contact be made through the use of this thread though.
That would mean it is updated quiteregularly keeping it "hot" or live if you will, helping to generate further interest.
I and the mod team candrop by fairly regularly too and help to "bump" the thread to keep it fresh and at the top of listings.
I'm not sure if we'll be able to get the forum banner sorted for you in time to be honest at this event.
I may be able to organise some forum decals for you though.........pm me with your details and I'll see what I can do.
Cheers
Jim

Four or five of us so far so everyone allowing I would like to set a date and go for Brighton pier as a meeting point. Any prefered dates for anyone? Or dates that are no go? I'd suggest a Sunday morning as parking easier so we can group easier. Maybe a fish and chip lunch? I'm open to any input :-)
Jim - could we do something on decals or something do you think?

A couple of possible dates seem to be favoured by people..
We could go for Sunday 3rd November or Sunday 1st December..
Any preferences in the two dates, or another Sunday in the area of?
Also it would be helpful to know if many of us may be bringing younger family members, and other halves along making it more of a social meet with fish and chips lunch etc rather than just a car meet..
