1968 Daimler 250 V8 Oil pressure issues
I have just bought this wonderful car but have an issue with the oil pressure reading. It is constantly 20psi, cold or hot. Is it the oil pressure relief valve? worn bearings (no noises)? faulty seal on pick-up pipe? oil sender unit? worn oil pump?
I am picking the car up this week. What do you suggest I do first? Fresh oil and new filter about 2000 miles ago - and still looking good.
I have a two post lift and am handy with a spanner. Where would you start first?
Any help would be gratefully received

Welcome to the forum Sprinterman,
Jaguars and Daimlers have beautiful dashboards but they always went for style over accuracy. Gauges either stick in the same place or wave about!
First suspect has to be the gauge followed by the relief valve. If you had a mechanical issue restricting oil circulation, I'd expect noise. It's been several years since I had direct experience with this era models and members in MKI / MKII S type 240 340 & Daimler forum are likely to be of more help.
