I posted a similar thread over on JaguarForum.com recently. There are a few members over there (some are members here also, like me) from Aberdeen area who are heading down to the big meet this Sunday, 7th June.
Setting off in time to make the initial meet at Stirling services would mean a very early start so I thought we could aim to meet in B&Q at Garthdee in Aberdeen for 0715 - 0730 for an 0730 departure, meeting other members at Tesco Kingsway in Dundee about 0845 for 0900 departure direct to the distillery in Crieff around the same time as the folks leaving from Stirling.
On the way back a few of us are thinking about heading North up over Glenshee to Braemar and then back in along Deeside for a more 'entertaining' drive than the A90![Smile](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If anyone wants to do this then post in here and I'll keep a list. So far this is:
1. 8bit - Aberdeen
2. Numptie-boy - Dundee
3. SimonXJ - Aberdeen
4. Caldean - Dundee
5. Splatter88 - Aberdeen
6. Jaggy Pat - Aberdeen
7. Parkie (maybe) - Aberdeen

Hi all, just been advised of some possible roadworks In the area the morning of the 7th by Bear Scotland. The A85 out of Crieff will have traffic lights and a convoy system perhaps meaning small delays of up to 5 mins, no more, see below...
"We have just taken a call from Bear Scotland to tell us that the resurfacing works on the A85 have been delayed due to bad weather and they have therefore decided to finish off works on Sunday 7th June.
Between 7.30am and 3pm they will operate a convoy system, which will mean a slight delay in accessing our turning up to the Distillery during this time frame.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Checking with Bear Scotland they advise that they should be clear by around 12.30 - 1pm on the day, so I don't think it will inconvenience us too much
