Hi Guys,

I'm from Brampton, Cambridgeshire. I joined the Forum and made a couple of posts last night

Got my reply from the Moderators (Graham and JimC64) - and a direction to the UK forum...

So just introducing myself here again and trying to get used to navigating around the forum(s).

I've not been able to set up a signature or add photos yet - but - have just bought a 2002 X-Type 3.0 V6 SE (Manual)

Welcome to the forum Hibbitt, it's really great, you'll enjoy it. As you can see from this thread there are a number of us jag owners in the area, I am hoping to try and get some of us up for an informal meet next year, see how it goes

Default Essex meet

Hi All,
I'm near Clare in Suffolk - I met up with other Jag owners a few times last year at the Hare in Roxwell near Chelmsford. Its a breakfast club meet, free coffee and danish plus usually some very rare a interesting cars show up including a good number of Jags. Get their early as it can get busy !
See attached for details:

Hi Guys

I'm near Ipswich and want to take my Celebration XJS out for a run as soon as I've finished testing after new fuel pump replacement.

We could get some really nice photos somewhere like Ipswich Dock or Fish and Chips in Aldeborough.

Sounds good to me I'll have my XJ6 back on the road in April, and I have my camera with tripod always handy! Although I have to warn you, I've been away just for a month and I already noticed a lot of things have changed in Ipswich docks!

Although it seems to be looking better and better!

Default welcome

Hello and welcome to the forum,

We are in Ashford Kent, in fact we are about to move from our home in Florida back to the UK, so at the moment some time some there, some time here, while we are looking for somewhere in the UK to rent.

We currently have a 2005 S-type Diesal in the UK and a great little Rover 25, sitting in our drive in Florida is a 2005 Chrysler 300 and we have a 2002 Mustang and a Gold Wing Aspencade in the garage.

We are retired, but have had most model Jags in the past, even owned a swallow Jag once.
We are in Kent at the moment but could end up anywhere in the UK, I.m a practical person and now a bit about cars and boats, this forum is a great place to find out what you don't know.

Your always welcome to stop by for a coffee, that goes for all members.
I liked you web page, good luck with your project.
Stan & Karen

Default Newmarket Racers

I am in Newmarket and it would be good to get together with some local fellow Jag owners.

You can't miss me as I have the only XK8 with a top speed of only 50 mph owing to my Restricted Performance ongoing problem, so can't go too far as it would take too long!

Hopefully a few of us can get together for a meet when the weather gets a little better. Who knows the chap with his big winged XK8 (sacrilege), near Bury, might even turn up!

So if anyone knows when the next sunny day is coming let us know and I will be there. (Slowly)

I'd be willing to drive over to Newmarket, is there anywhere you know of in the area that'd be good for a get together?

There's The Bedford Lodge Hotel, that got plenty of parking. I will have to put my car back together first as I have stripped out the ECU. It would be good to have a meet perhaps we can try and arrange for a few more of us East Anglicans to get together.

Is anyone going this weekend (Sunday that is) to the Ipswich Classic Car drive, everything begins in the Christchurch Park in the morning, nice display of different British, Euro and American classics, then the whole lot drives at 11:30 to Felixstowe!

Hi Mark, good to have another XK owner in Suffolk.

Pop in and say hello if you are ever near Newmarket.
