Hi Guys...
Graham from Burnley....
Just got myself a nice S Class VDP although its gone straight in the garage for the brakes to be sorted.... Servo, problem.
However cant wait to get her out on the roads and try her out for real, sheas a little different to my current motor, thats for sure.
Like the idea of a meet if only to meet with other members for a bit of a social... will keep watching the thread.

Now the weather's a little better, is anybody up for a meet as per below ? I had thought maybe next Sunday 2nd June. Other Sundays are out, as I am committed to several classic car rallies with my Jaguar and also my MG Midget

I have posted a possible meet at New Brighton Promenade but no
response so far.

I like the venue as I have raced a Skyline there many years ago, but I will be halfway accross the Atlantic on Sunday. My brother's mechanic, Ian, races an MG Midget. He has led his series for at least two years. I don' t know what club he belongs to but my brother Roy races a Rover Tomcat and he is in the Classic Sports Car Club.

If anyone wants a run out on Sunday there is a Hillclimb on at Harewood north of Leeds - it does mean crossing the hill to foreign territory for those in the North West but should be a good day out. Full details on Harewood Hillclimb - Homepage - I'm there taking part in the hillclimb in my Fiat Coupe so come and say hello if you are there.

@andyps, if I still lived over the hills, I would certainly drive over for the 'Climb'.
Great place.
Back in the 80's, I used to walk over to Baitings Dam of a weekend. (happy times).
Yikes, Birch services, around 83 we used to all pile in there after the late shift on a W/E. (characters from all walks, but never any trouble, quite the opposite. Now I'm in Pavlov dog mode, do they still do those enormous greasy bacon and sausage + fried egg with brown sauce sarnies for 75p?)
Don, we would have to include North Wales in the North West section, they both have NW + only an hour out, or 5 mins depending.
