Going to change the air and fuel filters on my 2.0d x-type when the weather picks up. Can anyone tell me how the 3 connectors come off the top of the fuel filter? It tends to hold back for a split second or i get a slight hiccup when i go to put my foot down. Also doe anyone know much about this diesel purge as its supposed to clear the fuel system pretty well?

Mark,
I was going to move this tech question from the UK Region section to the X-Type section then thought I might as well answer it here. Please post future tech questions in the X-Type section and not here in the UK Region section.
Presumably it's the three fuel lines (items 3, 4 & 5) you want to disconnect?

These will be either Quick Release Push Fit or Spring Lock Couplings. In both cases you need a special tool to release them. These tools come in various sizes and are readily available from Motor Factors or Machine Mart.
