UPDATE 13/03/2014 just a little over 2 weeks to go

Important NOTE - Numbers are limited to 35, therefore, the first 35 confirmed will be guaranteed a place on the tour, after that its a bit of a lottery I'm afraid.

There should also be ample parking and would be a good opportunity to discuss the days events and a chance to get to know other members.

Directions to Mackies Transmissions
From M74 take jctn 2A and head for City Centre, just off the roundabout there is a set of traffic lights near STERLING, Turn right into Causewayside street and Mackies is around 500 yards on the right.
95 Causewayside st, Tollcross, Glasgow G32 8LT
Mackies to Innkeepers Lodge / Toby Carvery ( Around 6.4 miles and 10 minutes driving )
Exit Mackies and head back to the M74, head for Carlisle. Once on the M74 take jctn 5 ( A725 ) after the services and head for Strathclyde Park ( just off the roundabout )
Innkeepers Lodge is immediately on your right
Strathclyde Country Park, Hamilton Road, Motherwell ML1 3WB
I've spoken with the Manager at Toby Carvery and organised the use of the overflow car park at the rear. This is shared between themselves and Holiday Inn Express, should be room for around 30 cars and is seldom used so will be good for our needs.
Note - Anyone NOT coming on the factory tour is more than welcome to attend at Strathclyde Park for the meet event.

Forum decals - I also hope to have some Jaguarforums.com decals which I will make available for those that want them.
Lastly, I've came across some RSR Racing items I still have left, around 5 t shirts and about 4 each of the 2 different styles of baseball cap, available to whoever wants one, first come first served........once they're gone they're gone!

As my S appears to be the only one going to the Mackies Transmission meet. I thought I would give it a bit of a clean today as it got a bit dirty going to Edinburgh and back early on last week. All spic and span lets hope next Saturday is a good dry day. Looking forward to meeting all then

For those people going to the meet i have managed to get a 10 per cent discount on royal purple diff and engine oil for anyone that is interested, obviously no delivery charge either so quite a good deal.
I have both the diff and engine oil in my own car and can report an emission reduction from the engine taking it down to 2 ppm from a pre change emmision level of 48ppm and the diff oil stopped a slight whine on my diff. The car is notably smoother after these oils were done too!
Prices are £78.40 all in for the engine oil (7 qtrs 5w30) and £48.95 (2 qtrs 75w140).
If anyone wants any bringing up let me know.
