Good to see you Sixpennystar. Look forward to the pics, but why not give us a bit more info about the car. When you got it, what year etc.

Cheers,

Hi sixpennystar....nice to see you dropped into the regional section.
Beautiful ride you got there....although if it was me, I reckon I'd have about 12 - 15 pics from every angle ( just after being freshly detailed of course ) if I had a beast like that
Dunno if I missed it, but location too please sps

Kim, I too was wondering about the posting of atachments. The box at the bottom of the page say`s I cant post atachments or edit my posts. Why? Are there different levels of membership?

Hi guys, great to see you,

The reason that 'new members' only have limited access to certain areas of the Forum is due to our continued fight against Spam attacks. There is a forum probationary period applied to all New Members relating to post counts and a time period.

I am sure that you will understand.

Don't worry, it will soon pass.

For more information why not have a read of the Forum Guidelines over in the 'New Member' area, and if you have not already done so, why not post an introduction, have a look in the Off Topic section, join in a bit, this will get you going.

All the best,

OK, no problem, I thought it would be something like that.

HI Guys, I am quite new to the forum.
I live in the ancestral & historic home of Jaguar. Good old Coventry!! Infact about a mile away from Browns Lane. Though there is nothing left now other than the museum. All levelled and ready for house builds.
Lived in Cov all my life, Knew loads of people who worked at Jag. And was left very bitter about Ford closing the home on Jag. Many in the city felt & still feel the same.

Its a shame I can only stretch to a X type. A car that is built in Halewood Liverpool. I'd love an original Cov Car.
My neighbour 2 doors down was a Jag test driver for 40 years , he is 85 now. He has told me countless stories of the cars and how he hated the E type v12 as it would constantly break down in the days before Mobile phones etc. Believe me there are some horror stories been told....
