Hey everyone,
I picked up my Jaguar XJ 3.0d Portfolio (X351) in March 2022, it has been great so far and I have enjoyed meeting fellow XJ owners from the west of Scotland. I even went to breakfast one Sunday at Queensferry with some of the XJ guys.
My family and friends enjoy the car, it is very luxurious and comfortable on long trips. I drove from Glasgow to Goodwood Festival of Speed this year in it and managed 47 mpg on the way down.
In addition, my friend has a 2008 VW Phaeton TDI, I think its quite a luxurious car (for its time) and I know it technically competes with the last gen XJ I wanted to show fellow Jag fans the Phaeton side by side to my XJ.
If anyone wishes to see the YouTube video the link is below:

Have had my ‘12 XJL Portfolio for 8 yrs. There were only 7,000 miles on it when it was purchased. I just love this car. It gets regular maintenance at the dealership and have not had any problems. It’s not a daily driver, and is rarely driver in the winter except on clear days. It’s garaged kept and gets a lot of dust on it since it’s not a daily driver.
So, to the recent jag owner, good luck. And keep up on your maintenance.
