I was going to import my XKR to France, thanks Steve and BigLad but the job here in Geneva and I do not get along, the wife hates it and the kids are not keen soooooo looks like I will be driving to the UK and trying to register it there, now from investigations I gather i need a form C104A for the customs who should give me a Form C&E388, then I can get an SVA?, then the licencing and tax and lastly the plates....correct? All help gratefully received lol

Sorry to hear you weren't happy - no point in hanging on once you've made the decision.
I can't help since you're going the wrong way but I'm sure there'll be someone who can - good luck.

Thanks Steve, it just turns out that the job as it was sold to me doesn't exist, my wife and kids are not settling and the cost of living is extortionate lol. My options were going to work in Nigeria (hmmmmm) or bailing out and going to the UK...guess which one my wife opted for!

While we are here though we are enjoying the skiing, wine and french bread.

BTW anyone in the Aberdeen area that can help with the SVA etc would be much appreciated
