Default Key Fob

I needed a new key fob for my XKR and found a new one on e-bay being sold by David Manners Jaguar for £30 plus postage. Ordered one up which arrived next day having checked it was the right part number LJE2610-BB.

I found a useful programming guide on the forum and it took me about 2 minutes to program it alongside the existing remote.

All in all a very good experience and a new remote for 35 quid. Chuffed!

The fob is the easy one because it's DIY to program.

The ignition key is the bad news because it has to be programmed by the dealer or an independent with dealer level diagnostics.
