Low heater temperature

Default Low heater temperature

Hi all Sept 2014 had leaking water pump on my Jag X type 2004 2.0 ltr deisel, so located mechanic got water pump told him to flush system and install new pump replace winter anti freeze, this done but temp gauge would not raise above the low mark on dial little heat after long run , so further reading advised thermostat so changed both stats water and oil, still no joy yes I get some heat but I like heat and never would the gauge climb above the quarter mark, hope you can get me some help (next stop Jag dealer and we all know what that means ££££

Hi Willie/billy,

You are probably best posting this in the X-Type section - but meanwhile you could be looking at an airlock, or maybe the cooling fan constantly running.. there's a few things to check.. the best people to ask will all be in the X-Type section..
