Hi there, and welcome to the south east of the UK :-)
If you look in the UK section you will see we have (hopefully) a meet coming up in the next few months - which would be a great chance to meet more like minded individuals like yourself and myself who enjoy Jaguars - from my level a 2.5 AWD X-Type Classic through to the latest 5 litre beasts..
If you would be interested in coming along just pop a post in the thread for the up and coming meet and I'll get you added in..

Default Thanks for the welcome...just one thing

Right, so since getting the car I have replaced a broken lower suspension arm due to it not pivoting, just breaking. Replaced the headlining, great job, a bit scary but managed without removing the seats. side repeaters and reflectors all clear now. Changed the plugs for Iridium ones, (huge difference in throttle response). Fitted a Fuel Cat filter, as I had one on a Lancia Delta turbo previously which made a big difference. ABS/ASC warning light on interrmittently so changed nearside ABS sensor, then the cable which solved it today. Just been for a test drive and aware of a bit of clunking from front so best check out Powerflex bushes. ...Anyhow the question is what do you think is next ? Al

Very unusual and unlucky. I've known upper wishbones seize and break but that's the first lower arm I've come across.
