Newbie with service question...
Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing a UK Jaguar XF 2017 2.0d Sport. The car has 18,000 miles listed on the clock and the dealer has advise me that it had it's first service yesterday. Car was originally registered in April 2017 and was an ex lease car. Sounds like it was well
overdue a service. I'm concerned it will have missed it's first service although dealer is telling me it still has 11 month manufacturers warranty. Could the validility of the warranty be questioned by Jaguar given the obvious gap in service.....
Any comments appreciated.....

Welcome to the forums dmoran15,
It sounds very odd that a lease vehicle would have missed a scheduled service. A 2017 UK registered Jaguar will have an OSH (OnLine Service History) which you can check if you have the VIN:
https://osh.jaguar.com/
These records are open to anyone which is a flagrant breach of GDPR but useful for potential buyers!
The Jaguar warranty document clearly states "Note: Failure to perform maintenance promptly and in accordance with Jaguar's specified service intervals, will invalidate warranty coverage".
