I've moved your question from General Tech Help to UK & Eire Region forum.

Technical posts should be made in the relevant MODEL forum and geographically relevant ones like this in the REGION forum.

I recently drove a 67 FHC with a power steering system installed by the current owner. My 67 OTS does not have one and I am very used to driving that way. First impression was that in parking maneuvers and at very low speed the improvement helps. No difference whatsoever when driving 35—40 MPH and above. The biggest question for me is whether or not the modification is worth the money and the obvious visual impact that it has on the car's look underneath the steering wheel. I am not sure ether the mod is always done this way but on the one I drove, a big part of the power steering wheel system was visible underneath the steering wheel. Not pretty at all.
