Car all washed, cleaned inside n out and looking good, ready for tomorrow!

Have a funny feeling that the weather isn't going to hold though and it could be a colossal waste of time, but you have to, don't you?
Look forward to seeing you all there

Car nice and clean now.......but it won't be after the drive down there from Inverness in the morning!
Never mind, we'll all have a great time anyway won't we? Lots of nice Jaguars to drool over!
See you there.

Finnished washing and cleaning the car tonight at 9-30pm,waited till the weather cooled down a bit. And had to go over to the Museum of Flight at East Fortune Airfield to see the Last Flying Vulcan Bomber, this is the Last Time it will be Flying as it's costing to mutch to maintain and the Engineers are getting near retirement.

See you all tomorrow will be bringing a Brolly unfortunately it won't be a Jag one.lol

Regards
Tom

Hope you all have a great day.

I'm 1800 miles south of Doune and expecting another sweltering day but there's unlikely to be any Jaguars in sight here.

Hi, Jim

Unfortunately I will have to cancel tomorrow. My mother isn't very well so I'm going to stay with her tonight and see how she is tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day and that the weather holds for you all.

Cheers Paul

I'm 3,967 miles South West there may be a Jag or two it's likely going to **** down and then be like a sauna.

Looks like a few late call offs, ( around 6 of from our little group that I know off ) so there may only be 194 Jags instead of the expected 200.
Need to get to bed and get some ZzzZZZzzzz's

See those of you are up for it in the am, fingers crossed for decent weather

Quite a few of us met at Dobbies as agreed this morning, although also quite a few unable to make if for various reasons, I'm sure the weather didn't help either...lol
Left around 9.55am and headed along to Doune, getting there around 10.15am and got parked up, got the banner out for signings etc and then dried off the car ( the first of around 3 times that day...lol )

The weather wasn't the best, not cold or overly windy but drizzles here n there, then a little dry spell / sunshine, more showers, dry, showers and finally dry / sunny.....
Here's a few pics of the day.....

It was a good day at Doune meeting up with members and talking about our cars and in particular the two cars on our forum stand, that had a Body Wrap done to them one was a XKR from a black colour to a lime green and the other a XF from grey to azure blue.

Norrie

I'm afraid i didn't get any photos of the Vulcan Bomber,it was an impressive site as it flew over about 4 times and to see how quick it could climb and turn around and the noise from it's Engines was an amazing experience.
I'm sure there will be Photos or Video shown somewhere from this Weekend as it was Flying to 17 different Airfields.

Regards
Tom

Smile Scottish Jaguar Day

Despite the weather not being able to make its mind up, another great day with a wide range of models and an opportunity to meet "old" friends and swap ideas. Something special was to meet another XJR Portfolio owner given that these models are few and far between. The afternoon was deceiving in that when I got home it looked like I had been sunbathing on the beach all day! Altogether an event well worth making the effort to support and something of a must in the motoring calendar. A big thank you to the Fife & Tayside Region of the JEC for again organizing a great event. This time I parked with the JDC who have made tremendous and successful efforts to breath new life into the Section and always extend a warm welcome to Jaguar enthusiasts. Was pleased to meet up with some other Forums.com members and put a face to the pseudonym.
