For the first time ever we have an official event support vehicle

We have an official event photographer with fantastic credentials

This event will be taking place on 29th May 2016 - most likely to be on the Brighton seafront as usual.

It is a Jaguar only event, and I am working on gaining much more industry support than previously, trying to get close to matching Jims last organised event :-), and ensuring that everyone has a fantastic day to remember.

There will be a convoy on the morning from Pease Pottage Services to the seafront, with us all setting up camp in one huge parking block prior to a fantastic breakfast with a sea view, and the main meet with as much going on as I can pull together for us including a free raffle for a number of must-have goodies, industry reps (see Industry Attendees list below to see who will have reps onsite) for you to quiz with problems, discounts etc etc. Plus the usual Welcome Packs on the day with free samples, info etc etc.

OK, it's the end of the week - time to sumarise:

We currently have:

Twenty four vehicles and thirty seven people signed up so far

For the first time ever we have an official event support vehicle

We have an official event photographer with fantastic credentials

Nine major sponsors supporting us plus an advertising sponsor (many many thanks to them for their continued & ongoing support)

Four companies have agreed to list the event as an official event in their calendars

Our VisitBrighton tourist website entry is up online

A range of sponsorship enquiries still on the go

Two potential sponsors being followed up on currently..

Our facebook page (www.facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK ) has eight friends and has even more images of previous events for you to enjoy right back to our first ever Brighton event!

Our Twitter feed now has 58 followers including some big industry names

We are well on track for the largest Brighton Convoy & Meet to-date!

Non Jag possibly, might come with the Daimler Six.
But will do my best to get the XJC ready in time.


I'm a shift worker, this is a long weekend for me.
Tempted to talk the wife into it.

 

Hi Tinker & Haddock.. You are both very welcome to sign up for our event!

Daimlers are very welcome on the day.. we would love to see your one!

As for overseas attendees Haddock, anyone is welcome to sign up as long as they are coming from the UK, Eire, or Europe, and don't require letters of invitation to be able to come along on the day.

I am still working on obtaining accomodation discounts here, amongst other things so please watch this space for info as and when it appears.

This event is set to be the largest one we have organised, and there is a lot more yet I am trying to sort for it :-)
