I am still following up with a couple of our event sponsors but just to let you know that so far we have 41 prizes for the main prize draw including Goodwood tickets, wash systems, manuals, vouchers ranging from £25 to £195, hat and mug sets and more making our main prize draw really worth entering on the day - noting there is a small charge for tickets at £1 each.

Additionally we have the Dinitrol Prize draw for a complete DIY Corrosion Protection and Treatment Kit to protect your Jaguar into the future.

On top of all this we have some great prizes, and a shield to be won by the judged, and voted for, winners of our awards on the day.

And this is all in addition to the discount codes we have listed in the event threads for you, and your free Welcome Packs with the usual selection of samples, freebies and information.

So, why not treat yourself to a great Jaguar day out - you can email JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk, tweet @JFBrightonMeets, pop a message up on Facebook www.facebook.com/JaguarForumsUK, or post on one of the event's forum threads - just let us know what model and year of Jaguar you will be in, and how many people and you will be signed up - it is honestly that easy, and free.

If you don't have a Jaguar, but want to come along and join in everything just park in the visitors car park at Denbies and walk through to the Bacchus field - subject to availability you can still collect a free Welcome Pack, and join in the prize draws etc :-)

Just a reminder of our itinerary for the day :-)

Itinerary for our Annual Jaguar Convoy & Meet (2017)

9:30am Starting point of event at Pease Pottage Services for event registration, with Welcome Packs handed out, and Welcome speech.

10:15am Depart for our main venue, Denbies Wine Estate.

11:00am Our Jaguars should be parking up, and everyone heading off for breakfast, noting the costs are listed in the main forum thread.

2:30pm Main Prize draw for a number of great Jaguar orientated prizes, noting there will be a small charge for tickets for this.

3:00pm A second free Prize Draw for a Dinitrol Corrosion Treatment and Protection Pack for your Jaguar.

3:15pm Presentation of:
The Scratchshield 'Best Turned Out Jag - 2017' award (judged)
The Nextbase 'Peoples Choice' award (as voted by you)
The LeatherGuard 'Best Interior' award (judged)

3:30pm Group photo shoots and final summary speech prior to the end of our day.

Please note that in addition to socialising, checking over our Jaguars and meeting the companies joining us on the day, Denbies are also laying on tours of the wine estate, and wine tasting experiences for us. These additional features will be charged for by Denbies, but do represent a great chance to learn about this, the largest wine estate in England, and their award winning wines.

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This FREE event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more cars (we now have a ceiling of 300 vehicles), more sponsors (with some able to perform work on site for you!), more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again PLUS the new awards of 'Peoples Choice' and 'Best Interior'!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the tone for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:

The De Bowers Motor File Company can help with incredible leather bound solutions for your Jaguar documentation and we have an exclusive 5% discount using the codse 'JagShowOffer'.

Additionally, following on from last year, we have the FREE service for attendees - the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service If you drop me a line with your name & mobile number before the day we will ensure that you get a text just before any event on the day, such as banner signing, prize draws, winners of judged contests etc.. just drop a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk if you would like to guarantee you miss nothing on the day..

Plus, if you want to make a weekend of it, we have teamed up with HolidayInn Express in Crawley and have a fixed discounted rate of £65 a night for attendees, plus guaranteed availability of rooms for us please see their details below, or follow this link HolidayInn Express Crawley. A mini update for you - We have the goodie pack contents, prizes and information in from all bar two of our sponsors. I am currently following up with them as the clock is very much ticking with the day of our event ever closer.

Subject to when I get feedback from the two remaining sponsors I will make a start on assembling our Welcome Packs etc this weekend, and collating the prize items into the specific prizes we have on offer on the day.

The weather forecast is still looking as good as we can expect with a warm day and the possibility of a shower.

As much as my S-Type is bigger than my previous X-Type there is absolutely no way I can fit everything into it on the day so I am looking for two volunteers with a fair amount of spare space in their cars on the day that would be prepared to help out with this. Please drop me an email, facebook message, or a tweet if you can.. we have over 40 prize draw prizes, plus the Dinitrol Kit, Goodie Bags, award prizes and more all to move on the day :-)

Please keep an eye on the forum threads, our facebook page or twitter feed as we approach the day as any changes or updates will appear there as soon as I am aware of them.

Additionally if you are signed up already for our event please double check the attendee list and make sure you have been listed - if not please just let me know.

Anyone without a Jaguar, no need to register - just park up in the visitor car park at Denbies and walk across the the Bacchus field to find us and join in the event features.

Anyone with a Jaguar who is not yet signed up - why not? :-) We have a great day planned, it's free, suitable for the whole family and there are so many things you stand to win this year, and for the first time ever we officially have trade stands with specialists onsite to meet you.

Its so easy to sign up - just post on one of the forum threads, or on our facebook page - JaguarForumsUK, or tweet us at @JFBrightonMeets, or email us at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk just stating your Jaguar model, year, and how many will be travelling and you will be signed up - usually the same/next day.

Just a quick mini update for you regarding our event :-)

I am very happy to say that DesignXKR have agreed to marshall at Denbies, if anyone else would also be prepared to help guide everyone into place in the Bacchus field at Denbies please get in touch.

Andrew Lowe & Luke have come forward to assist with shifting the huge pile of prizes, awards, goodie bags and more, on the day,

Mark Lambourne is helping out with our awards on the day.

Many, many thanks to them all for their help with our event - I genuinely appreciate the help esp now the event has got to the size it is :-)

One of the two sponsors I am waiting on has been in touch with an eta of next week for their items.

I have yet to hear back from Pease Pottage Services regarding possible discounts etc for us at the very start of our event, and I have one final sponsor I am still chasing.

We have almost 100 Jaguars signed up, but would love to make it to 200 if we can - if you know anyone with a Jaguar that has yet to sign up please suggest to them that they join us for what promises to be a great Jaguar day out for all of us.

We are very close to 100 Jaguars on the day, which is incredible :-)

If you know of anyone else with a Jaguar who might enjoy the day, and help us towards our target of 200 for the day please suggest they sign up - we still have a couple of weeks left for people to sign up before the day and guarantee their chance at great prizes, awards, demonstrations, products at show prices, full dealership support and specialists on site - and don't forget we also have the most scenic convoy element to-date too - and not just the one route but two :-)

Subject to availability you can even collect a free Welcome Pack too, and participate in the prize draws!

Just park in the Visitors car park and walk across to the Bacchus field and join in the event - no need to register

OK, I am back from my day off from event organising and we now have just 11 days left.

I am watching the weather like a hawk - geting a little worried but the forecast is still only for the chancxe of an occasional shower.

We have a few more signups that I will be adding later today :-)

If you want a great Jaguar day out and have not signed up, please do - we have a day out suitable for the whole family and your Jaguar.

Don't forget even if you dont have a Jaguar you can always park in the visitors car park at Denbies and walk across to the Bacchus field and join in the prize draws, award presentations, banner signing, and photo shoots PLUS specialists there to meet and chat with, products at show prices and more :-)

Prestige Car Care is offering all attendees a 10% discount on their entire product range which includes some superb car cleaning products - to take advantage of this great offer go to Featured Products - Prestige Car Care Shop and use the checkout code 'jags' to get your event attendee discount!

Scratchshield.co.uk can help you keep your car scratch free for our event with a huge 25% discount using the checkout code ' JAGBRI16/17'

Croftgate UK can help with all your detailing product needs for our event with a 10% discount using the checkout code ' JAGF10'

Just remember to quote that you are with the 'JaguarForums.com' event to get guaranteed availability and the fixed discounted rate of £65 a night.

If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk
