Ok, my F-Type R weekend has been and gone (big sigh :-)) and I am back on the event bandwagon once again.. :-)

We have a great Jaguar event ahead of us.. free to sign up for by posting on a forum thread, our Facebook page, tweeting us on our Twitter account, or just good old fashioned emailing us.

Not only is it free to sign up for, but also free to attend, with free Welcome Packs & Goodie Bags on arrival at the start of the day!

This year we will have Harwoods Jaguar Brighton, Valet South East, Anglian Remaps & the Leather Repair Centre all onsite to advise you on any issues, answer any questions, and in some cases perform work onsite for you, take bookings, and even supply quality products for your Jaguar.

Our new venue, Denbies Wine Estate is the largest Wine Estate in England, with great food (10% discount voucher on the day for attendees), superb backdrops for us, plus possibly wine tastings, tours, and the opportunity to buy some superb wine whilst there :-)

Our event will have a convoy element through some fantastic Sussex & Surrey countryside, and our main event component at Denbies will be a full one day event with socialising, networking, incredible Jaguars in the flesh spanning 62 years of Jaguar production, the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' cup to be won, and even a prize draw with an incredible range of Jaguar orientated goodies to be won (there will be a small charge for the prize draw itself).

So go on, why not sign yourself and your Jaguar up for the best free Jaguar day out that money just cannot buy? Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors (with some able to perform work on site for you!), more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the tone for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:

Prestige Car Care is offering all attendees a 10% discount on their entire product range which includes some superb car cleaning products - to take advantage of this great offer go to Featured Products - Prestige Car Care Shop and use the checkout code 'jags' to get your event attendee discount!

Scratchshield.co.uk can help you keep your car scratch free for our event with a huge 25% discount using the checkout code ' JAGBRI16/17'

Additionally, following on from last year, we have the FREE service for attendees - the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service :-) If you drop me a line with your name & mobile number before the day we will ensure that you get a text just before any event on the day, such as banner signing, prize draws, winners of judged contests etc.. just drop a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk if you would like to guarantee you miss nothing on the day..

Plus, if you want to make a weekend of it, we have teamed up with HolidayInn Express in Crawley and have a fixed discounted rate of £54 a night for attendees, plus guaranteed availability of rooms for us :-) please see their details below, or follow this link HolidayInn Express Crawley. Just remember to quote that you are with the 'JaguarForums.com' event to get guaranteed availability and the fixed discounted rate of £54 a night.

If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk :-)

Just a very brief update for you regarding our event ..

We are pretty much on schedule for what promises to be the biggest and best event we have ever run :-)

A fantastic convoy, or drive, from the starting point at Pease Pottage Services through glorious Sussex & Surrey countryside to Denbies Wine Estate and the main event.

We currently have four specialist companies who will have official stands booked offering sales and servicing advice, valeting, details, engine remapping and decarbonisation, and leather care advice and help. Products will be available at event prices, some work can be done on site, and even bookings can be made for any work to be done or looked at at a later date if you want.

We have the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award to be won - judged by Tony from Harwoods Jaguar.

There will be a big prize draw on the day with an array of Jaguar orientated goodies to be won.

There will be photo shoots of individual Jaguars, winners, and of the host forum banner signing for posterity.

On site at Denbies.. the largest wine estate in England!.. there will be 10% discount vouchers for food etc, wine tastings, and hopefully site tours will be available. the site has some fantastic restaurants for you to enjoy a meal in, and of course they have their award winning wines available for you to buy and take home with you.

Our event is live in the events diary at Carphile.com with a one page spread, and MotorMartin is also working hard to promote our event.

And this is just what we have so far!

I am currently working hard on our Twitter account trying to locate rare and unusual Jaguars to attend our event, and I have a number of potential sponsors I am talking to who may be able to offer services, discounts,or more that we do not currently have available to us.

And all this (except for a small charge for the prize draw) is free!! So go on, if you are already signed up you are guaranteed a great Jaguar day out which can do nothing but grow even bigger and better.. if you are not signed up yet - please do.. you can post here, or email at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk, or tweet us @JFBrightonMeets #MayJagmeet and guarantee yourself a great Jaguar day as only we know how :-)

Our Facebook page has 55 friends

We have 15 sponsors including some big industry names

We have 2 advertising partners

We have retained last years fixed price accomodation (with guaranteed availability) with our accomodation partner

To date we have 48 Jaguars, and 87 people signed up, with 62 years of Jaguar production!! If you haven't signed up yet, why not? And guarantee yourself a slot for this event - we are aiming for 200+ Jaguars for the day, why not help us smash that target :-)

For the first time we will have companies setting up stands onsite to meet you and discuss any and all Jaguar issues.

Our convoy or 'drive' element is the most scenic & gorgeous one to-date with our Jaguars passing through country roads, villages and incredible Sussex & Surrey scenery.

Our main event is finally off road with an enclosed area set aside for us with the capacity for upto 400 Jaguars!

Our 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jag' award will be an official cup to be won yearly.

If you want to attend please let me know what model of Jaguar, year, and how many travelling and I will get you added to the list of attendees and your slot guaranteed.
