Don't forget (excuse the pun :-)) we have the free service (yes another freebie) of the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service for the 2017 event. Just drop me a msg, f/book post or email with your name and number and I will add you into this service.

You will get a few texts as we approach the event with any news, and on the day you will get a free alert before any main events on the day. Your number will not be shared with anyone, and you will be unsubscribed after the event itself.

So, go on - another great freebie you can sign up for with our event :-)

Hello Steve , just looking at the years of production and was thinking how nice it would be to see the cars lined up and parked next to each other from the 1954 through to the 2016 entries to show how the Jaguar brand has grown and evolved and would make one hell of a photo opportunity , it would take a lot of planning sure , but imagine if you could walk along a line of awesome Jaguar and see the changes .. just another one of my thoughts , Paul

A great idea Paul, I will add it to my to-do list.. maybe we cant manage it at the start of the event, but we could maybe move a selection of our Jags before the group photo - as we will have spare space for manoevering cars on the day (yep I do think I spelt that incorrectly :-) before you wonder) .. good idea

Officially less than 100 days to go until our event!! 97 days to be exact :-)

Anyone who is still thinking about signing up, please consider signing up sooner rather than later to guarantee your place on this great free event.

We have a great Jaguar day ahead of us with specialists on site, two prize draws, a judged 'Best Turned Out Jag' award, convoy & main event, glorious surroundings and scenery, award winning wines available, estate tours, tastings, and not one but two restaurants on site.. a great day for the whole family!

Just a reminder of our itinerary for the day :-)

Itinerary for our Annual Jaguar Convoy & Meet (2017)

9:30am Starting point of event at Pease Pottage Services for event registration, with Welcome Packs handed out, and Welcome speech.

10:15am Depart for our main venue, Denbies Wine Estate.

11:00am Our Jaguars should be parking up, and everyone heading off for breakfast, noting the costs are listed in the main forum thread.

2:30pm Main Prize draw for a number of great Jaguar orientated prizes, noting there will be a small charge for tickets for this.

3:00pm A second free Prize Draw for a Dinitrol Corrosion Treatment and Protection Pack for your Jaguar.

3:15pm Presentation of the judged award for the 'Best Turned Out Jag - 2017'

3:30pm Group photo shoots and final summary speech prior to the end of our day.

Please note that in addition to socialising, checking over our Jaguars and meeting the companies joining us on the day, Denbies are also laying on tours of the wine estate, and wine tasting experiences for us. These additional features will be charged for by Denbies, but do represent a great chance to learn about this, the largest wine estate in England, and their award winning wines.

Welcome to the 2017 Annual Convoy & Meet Event

This FREE event will be taking place on Sunday 28th May 2017 - with the main venue being Denbies Wine Estate, near Dorking.

It is a Jaguar EXCLUSIVE event! This year things are set to be even bigger and better than ever before with more cars (we now have a ceiling of 400 vehicles), more sponsors (with some able to perform work on site for you!), more prizes to be won on the day, and our annual award of the prestigeous 'JaguarForums.com Best Turned Out Jaguar' award up for grabs again!

The initial meeting point will be Pease Pottage Services with a quick Welcome speech and your free Welcome Packs handed out.

Denbies will be laying on a breakfast for us upon arrival. The options being: Full English breakfast with Tea or Coffee & Orange juice £8.25, a Bacon or Sausage Buttie £3.50, and a Bacon or Sausage Buttie with Egg £4.75. Please note that there will also be 10% discount vouchers available to attendees to reduce these prices :-)

As you know we like to try to work with our sponsors to keep your Jaguar costs low... and we are pleased to say we have arranged the following discount codes (so far) for event attendees, which will be active from now until our event:

Prestige Car Care is offering all attendees a 10% discount on their entire product range which includes some superb car cleaning products - to take advantage of this great offer go to Featured Products - Prestige Car Care Shop and use the checkout code 'jags' to get your event attendee discount!

Scratchshield.co.uk can help you keep your car scratch free for our event with a huge 25% discount using the checkout code ' JAGBRI16/17'

Additionally, following on from last year, we have the FREE service for attendees - the 'Don't Miss a Thing' texting service :-) If you drop me a line with your name & mobile number before the day we will ensure that you get a text just before any event on the day, such as banner signing, prize draws, winners of judged contests etc.. just drop a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk if you would like to guarantee you miss nothing on the day..

Plus, if you want to make a weekend of it, we have teamed up with HolidayInn Express in Crawley and have a fixed discounted rate of £65 a night for attendees, plus guaranteed availability of rooms for us :-) please see their details below, or follow this link HolidayInn Express Crawley. Just remember to quote that you are with the 'JaguarForums.com' event to get guaranteed availability and the fixed discounted rate of £65 a night.

Just to quickly update you with things - the past week or so I have been quiet regarding event organisation, due to Jaguar hunting (and not the tranquiliser gun type :-)) but that came to a blank temporarily so I have concluded this year at least I will have the car that is the talking point at our event :-)

I haven't been completely off the case though, and am currently working on the print runs to produce the event documentation, making sure that you all have the itinerary, Denbies info, and Welcome info in your Welcome Packs for the day.

I will be ramping up the search for the rare and unusual Jaguars out there again, and have started collecting the goodies from our incredible sponsors for our prize draw on the day.

If you have yet to sign up for this great free event please do so - as always, we have a lot of things going on on the day which we would love you to join us for :-)

It's been a while since the last update so you know where we are so far with our event..

Our forum threads hasve amassed almnost 33,000 hits to-date

Our Facebook Page now has 114 friends

Our Twitter feed 363 followers

We have 68 Jaguars signed up spanning 63 years of production

We have 120 people signed up for our Jaguar day

There will be at least 5 trade stands onsite including full Jaguar Dealership Support, Leathercare specialists, Car Care Products, Valetting & Detailing, and even Engine Remapping.

You can catch product demonstrations, products at show prices, make bookings for work, get some work actually completed on site, and access a world of advice and help for you and your Jaguar.

Add to this the offerings from Denbies of Wine Tastings & Tours, and the opportunity to purchase and take home award winning wines.

In your free Welcome Packs on arrival at the start point you will have selected advertising material - yes I know everyone says this, but this is me selecting what we have :-), samples, freebies, your Welcome to our event Letter, Denbies wine tasting/tours info, details of our recommended route to Denbies and more.

The long range weather forecast suggests mainly sunshine and warm temperatures leading up to our event, and on the day! :-) I'll keep an eye on it nonetheless between now and then...

We are still looking for Jaguar owners whether they have rare, unusual, classic, modern, or new Jaguars, to sign up for our great free Jaguar day.

We are also looking for anyone who is interested in the Jaguar marque and would enjoy a day looking around upto 200 Jaguars, & getting involved with some of the days features..

Whichever camp you are in we have a great location for a Sunday Jaguar event, great food, award winning wines, winery tours and wine tastings, all in addition to great company, and incredible cars and so much more..

If you are interested in the Jaguar marque come and chat with owners about their cars and get the complete picture about owning one, meet Harwoods Jaguar who can tell you all about the latest models and innovations, and why not get involved with our prize draws on the day, and see which Jaguar is awarded 'Best Turned Out Jag'. You can even chat with specialists that work with Jaguars and get their side of things regarding the Jaguar marque. If you watch the product demonstrations you will even get hints and tips on looking after your own car to take away with you!

If you have a Jaguar our event is one of the friendliest ( & free! ) grassroots Jaguar events you can attend! You will get freebies, samples, information, discount codes just for reaching the starting point.. and then at the main event you can enter our two prize draws and be in with a great chance at a range of Jaguar orientated goodies up for grabs. PLUS it might be YOUR Jaguar that wins the prestigeous 'Best Turned Out Jag' award! CarSnapped will be there taking professional pictures of all the action, with photos available at a low cost for you to buy, and frame at home as a reminder of your day. Through the day you will see product demonstrations, be able to chat with specialists about any Jaguar queries, and even book specialist work to be done at great rates.

Our annual Jaguar event has far more going for it than you would expect from an event that is free to sign up for and attend!

It is even easy to attend...

If you are a visitor interested in the marque you don't need to sign up, just come along on the day..
if you are bringing your Jaguar though you do need to sign up for this to ensure you can participate in the day - just let us know your Jaguar model, year, and how many people travelling by emailing us at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk, tweet us at @JFBrightonMeets, pop a post onto one of our forum threads, or msg us on facebook (
Facebook Post
and you will be signed up

Hi Steve. I am planning to attend the convoy/event in my 2007 XK convertible. As things stand I will be on my own, but that might possibly change to myself + 1 by the time the event rolls around. :-)

Just 82 days to go now until our event and I am currently working my way round our sponsors to collate anything and everything as early as I can to ensure everything is with me and ready for the day.

Our Facebook page has been seeing quite a few signups in the last week or so, and our Twitter feed has picked up yet more followers. Our event is now being watched by people from all around the world, and by quite a number of events and companies. 2018 promises to be even bigger by the looks of it if this continues :-)

Additionally it's great to see signups for our 2017 event, by people who have attended our previous events - I promise you we have a bigger and better event than ever before this year :-)

I have been looking at routes for the convoy element and have settled on one route which is fairly easy to map and give printed directions for, and still passes some great and varied scenery. I am hoping to get them printed out over the next week or so for everyone.

I have been going over the arrangements here and do very much need help on the day with a few things - esp with the likelihood I will now be in my backup car on the day :-)

1) If anyone can meet at my place on the morning of the event, or maybe the night before, and help with moving 200 goodie bags, and the prizes for the day.

2) Anyone who can help with the initial event registration and handing out goodie bags to everyone

3) Anyone happy to help directing cars at Denbies Wine Estate first thing on the day

I really do need assistance with these things - please drop me a line, or email, or Tweet if you could possibly be of help with any of these things.

Equally if you know of anyone with a Jaguar who has not yet signed up for our event, & you know they would enjoy a great Jaguar day out - for free.. please ask them to sign up as we would love to have them along. The same thing goes for any friends without a Jaguar - if they want to come along and take a look, and maybe join in on the fun on the day they are very very welcome to.

Latest news for you is that our 'Best Turned Out Jag' award is now officially sponsored by one of our great event sponsors Scratchshield! This year we will have a shield up for grabs for a year for the 'Best Turned Out Jag'.. it will be presented on the day, with photos online of the winner and you will then need to bring it with you to the 2018 event to present to the 2018 winner! Huge thanks go to Scratchshield for their ongoing support of our event.

There will then be a convoy through winding country roads, with gorgeous scenery, from Pease Pottage to our new venue at Denbies Wine Estate. It will be the first time these roads will have ever seen this number of Jaguars passing through, and will set the tone for our arrival at Denbies, where we will have a grassed, enclosed area set aside exclusively for us for the day.

If you would like to sign up for this event please just pop a post on the thread inc how many will likely be coming, and car details, and I will add you in. If you prefer, you are also very welcome to sign up by dropping a line to JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk :-)
