OK, as of this moment in time, I have now officially made contact with everyone involved in our event this week. Some sponsors have already been in touch regarding their support of our event, and there is quite a number of them I am waiting to hear back from - which is understandable as our event is at the start of the event season and our sponsors are busy dealing with other events.

When I know more I will let you know, but suspect it will take up to a week for some of them to get back to me. The end of next week I will gently chase any sponsors I have not heard back from. Hopefully next week I can get the print run for the Welcome Letters completed as that is the last of the paperwork from my end for the Welcome Packs :-)

Meanwhile we have a great free Jaguar day out for you, and a few places still available - please consider signing your Jaguar up for free and join us for the day :-)

OK I know you all think I have been quiet this week, and I have likely taken an incredibly well earned break from the event.. but fortunately, or unfortunately depending on your perspective :-) It has been a really busy week again for our event :-)

I have been in contact with our incredible event sponsors - all of them (unless of course I have forgotten someone :-() .

Some have come back to me very promptly, confirming that they are supporting our Welcome Packs, Prize Draw and so on, and there are others I will likely be waiting on for a week as things are quite busy with them, and may need to gently follow up with them in a weeks time - but overall I would say things are looking good, especially considering the current economic situation. I will update you on this as I go.

I still need to print up the Welcome letters too - and am hoping to get a chance to do that printrun next week, completing the event paperwork for everyone.

We have had a number of signups in the past week, with not only an SS100 Jaguar signed up but also (hopefully) a D-Type, and as of today we have a manual transmission F-Type booked as well :-) Neil Blaxill has also given into everyones requests and will be joining us again with his Mark II that is always the centre of so much discussion at our events :-)

I have had a few people commenting that they cannot remember the layout for the day - my artwork is just so, so forgettable that it's understandable lol.. but for those of you who can withstand my artwork please follow this link https://1drv.ms/f/s!Ao-7HJVAHqvXnSjtLh0-n8i8cxPI to where we have the 2019 event layout stored online in our events OneDrive account. You can access all the images, plans, and history of our event via the event website JaguarForumsUK | Home but recommend the forum threads for the most complete and up to date information.

OK, so that is all the news from the week regarding our event :-).

Time for what you have been waiting for - the weekly stats on what you can see on the day itself...remembering my maths and statistical skills should not be taken as 100%, as proven a few weeks ago lol and also remember we do not have specifics of all the Jaguars currently signed up...

Our event forum threads have amassed over 29,000 views
Our Facebook page has 469 friends
On Instagram our event has 196 followers
Our Twitter feed now has 591 followers
Our event website has been in double figures of visitors every day this week :-)

Just a very quick update for everyone - the last of the event paperwork, the Welcome Letters, is all printed up, and we currently have ten of the prize draw prizes through, plus the first of the items for our goody bags.

Additionally we are down to the very last 37 attendee slots - so please, if you haven't signed up yet and would like to attend - sign up sooner rather than later.

We have a great day out for you with over 80 years of Jaguar production signed up, our convoy & main event components, prizes, awards, talks, show prices and more..

OK, there has been a lot going on regarding our event and I should be updating you with where we are currently with things..

Three of our incredible event sponsors have already supplied their promised goody bag contents, and prizes, which still leaves a large number of sponsors I have made contact with and will hopefully be making contact with me shortly - I am on the case, and we already have 10 of the promised prizes through for the prize draw, and our Welcome packs have started to develop.

The event paperwork, which is the event info, itinerary, voting forms and dashboard sheets etc. have all been printed up - with more of the paperwork in colour this year just to impress you :-)

Due to quantities of goody bag items being more limited this year & in view of our event growing at the same time, our event is limited to 160 attending Jaguars, which means we are already down to limited availability with just 37 places left! Next year our event will be limited to 200, if I can manage it, and then for our anniversary event 300. If you haven't signed up yet - please do or you may miss out on this years event!

Our Talks by the Pro's have been confirmed by the companies hosting them on the day, and I am currently looking into a prize option for the quiz module - no guarantees, and it may have a twist to it.. but I am working on it for you.

Our initial start point, Pease Pottage Services have booked us in, with a discount on Costa products and the Conservatory is set aside for us. I do still need to triple check all OK with them closer to the date as we have had issues before with the discount :-)

I will be making contact with Denbies again mid April to again, triple check everything with them and to verify that we are OK for an attendees' discount in the Carvery there and their incredible selection of food and drink for everyones lunch.

We currently have seven awards you are in with a great chance at, and I am in discussions with one of our sponsors to try & organise an eighth award.. more news on that to come.

With clubs and forums getting involved with our event this year ( a massive thankyou to them for their leap of faith in us, and for getting involved) we now have not only the 'Walk through the Years of Jaguar' but also three club specific areas you can drop in on on the day plus two club/forum stands.

Additionally with the club and forum involvement we have managed to increase the span of Jaguar production we cover this year to 81 years!! Absolutely incredible and (subject to the usual) we should have an SS100 and a D-Type attending - two incredible classics I am looking forward to seeing in the flesh.

The event website (JaguarForumsUK | Home) is still seeing approx 5 to 10 visitors a day which is fantastic. I am looking into expanding it, possibly after this years event, but it is unlikely to become more polished with my webs skills, or more graphical whilst hosted at a free hosting site but will contain even more info - but hey, we do have an event with no budget so it is to be expected lol

International interest in our event has been growing, with some non UK Jaguar owners already looking to book with us for next year, and European clubs interested in becoming connected with us. It is something I am looking into currently with the aim (yes I know.. plans of mice and men lol..) to getting National and European clubs much more involved in our 10th anniversary event in 2021.

So there you go, I would love to say that is where we are in a nutshell, but our event is getting too big to fit in a nutshell :-) If you would like any info about our event, or want to sign up just get in touch and I'll be happy rto help in any way I can.

I believe I may have just signed up our first sponsor for our 2020 event :-) that is a record for our event, but something I really need to work on enabling more if our 2021 event is to be the showstopper anniversary event we all want :-)

If you all remember we made it into Grant Fords 'Fordies Favourites' column in Classic Motor Monthly last year - if not, don't worry you can access his article at our event website here: JaguarForumsUK | References . it was very well written, and definitely helped raise awareness of our event.

Well, he will be back this year! Where last year he concentrated on the convoy itself, this year he is concentrating much more on the main event element with the awards, prizes, talks and everything else we have on the go :-)

So, please join me in making him feel welcome at our 2019 event and be forewarned your Jaguar may well make the press :-)

Just 59 days to go, and we are down to limited availability with just 34 slots still available if you would like to sign your Jaguar up.

Our event is not only free to sign up for, and attend, but is also a great Jaguar day out for everyone, whether you have a classic or showroom Jaguar, or like me you have a Jaguar you are just managing to keep on the road, against all the odds :-)

We have free Welcome packs with samples, goodies, information and more. We have a convoy element as well as main event. We have managed to arrange discounts on your food & drink on the day at both venues to help keep your costs down. You are in with a great chance at any of seven awards including the prestigeous Scratchshield shield for 'Best Turned Out Jaguar' and Mark Lambournes 'Peoples Choice' award that you get to vote for yourself. You can attend free Talks by the Pro's, and enter our great prize draw for goodies for you and your Jaguar for just £1 per ticket. We have a quiz for the most knowledgeable attendees of 2019, you can meet Jaguars spanning over 80 years of production in the flesh, meet around 200 other Jaguar enthusiasts, 160 Jaguars, chat with specialists, buy essentials at show prices, and have a great Jaguar day out so go on, why not give our event a try this year?

You can sign up by posting on one of our forum threads, message via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, or use our events'Contact Us' page at JaguarForumsUK | Home - all we need to know is your name/alias, what model and year of Jaguar, and how many people travelling - it is genuinely that easy to sign up for.

Our event is genuinely free in every way, and literally runs on no budget so if you are looking for a grassroots Jaguar event, that is is some ways quite rustic, but offers features you normally have to buy tickets for, considers every Jaguar as equal with no elitism, and great for everyone from petrolheads to families we have the event for you - so go on, sign up for one of our last remaining places and let us give you a great Jaguar day out :-)

It's Friday again, and time to update everyone with where we are currently with our Jaguar event, with just 58 days to go until the day itself.

We have received responses from a few of our sponsors this week, but there is still quite a few I need to gently follow up with regarding pledged items for our prize draw and the Welcome Packs.

We are down to limited places available for this years event, and even those are steadily disappearing, so if you haven't signed up yet please do so before the last places we have available have all gone.

As of this week we have press coverage for our event - Grant Ford will be joining us on the day and featuring us in Classic Motor Monthly. A massive thankyou to CMM for their support of our event.

More good news for everyone - Julian Ferraro have just agreed to sponsor the 'Julian Ferraro E-Type Trophy' for a second year, so we now have not seven but eight awards up for grabs on the day.

Huge thanks to Julian Ferraro for their sponsorship and support of our event :-)

Our event is doing well - we have 55 days to go until the day itself, and we are already down to just 29 places left!

If you would like to join in our free Jaguar day out with convoy/drive & main event elements, awards, prizes, trade stands, club and forum stands and allocated areas, and even a quiz of your Jaguar knowledge please sign up before these last few places have all gone.

Our event is genuinely free with your only costs being food/drink (which we will have discounts on, for you on the day) and the prize draw which is just £1 a ticket, making our event ideal for everyone with a Jaguar from petrolheads through to families. You get free Welcome Packs on registration on the day, oodles of free advice from specialists, Talks by the Pro's you can attend free, show prices on must haves, and the prize draw includes everything from manuals and vouchers, through to bespoke luggage, and even a Classic Jaguar experience so you could finish the day with more know how, an award or two, & one or more prizes as well.

If you are worried about travelling to our event and needing a room overnight we even have rooms reserved that you can exclusively book as an event attendee at fixed prices just five minutes drive from the start point.

We have a great venue with the largest wine estate in England, and a great Jaguar day out for you, your Jaguar and your family - so go on, why not give our annual event a go?

Oh yes, we even have a free Christmas competition every year for event attendees to make sure your Jaguar doesn't miss out on Father Christmas..

So go on, why not give our event a go.. all you need is a Jaguar and some fuel.. :-)

A couple of bits of news for everyone regarding our event...

At the end of April we will be setting up at least one more discount code for attendees (hopefully another two or three in total) to help you save money looking after your Jaguar this year.

Also, I have spent some time tweaking what I can with our event website, within the limits the free hosting allows, and you will now find a map of where our main venue is (often asked for by people who have not attended our event before), and a guestbook where you can leave any comments.. I have also started trying to optimise the menu order, & tweaked it's domain, and what appears in the tab in your browser.. :-)

Not being a web designer (add it to mathmatician and statistical analysis skills lol) this is very much a work in progress, and any feedback on the adjustments would be very welcome :-) Remember it is at JaguarForumsUK - The free annual convoy & meet event for Jaguar owners..

Welcome to our Eighth JaguarForumsUK Convoy & Meet event!
This will be our sixth year of running this event, and is genuinely the biggest, most feature packed event we will have ever run.

Free Welcome packs
A range of class awards that your Jaguar could win
Talks on how to look after and maintain your Jaguar
Trade stands with great products & services at show prices, plus free advice.
Clubs and Forums are now participating too.
Trade demonstrations showing you the trade at work
A quiz to test your knowledge of Jaguar history and trivia (spanning 1920 - 2004), finding our most knowledgable attendee
A great prize draw (the largest prize fund to-date) with prizes ranging from must-haves to incredible treats for you or your Jaguar

Add to this a convoy/drive through glorious Sussex and Surrey countryside, a superb venue at Denbies Wine Estate (the largest wine estate in England), great Jaguars spanning all walks of life, incredible company and you have our event. And not just all this, but Denbies have a range of award winning wines you can buy and take home with you, plus a carvery restaurant with great food and drink to keep you going through the day.

So go on, treat yourself and your Jaguar to a great day out. It's that time of the week again & time to update you with where we currently are with everything regarding our event.

I have been gently chasing our incredible event sponsors with reminders that the event is fast approaching, and have not had any responses this week - I will now give them until mid next week and then enquire a little bit further if needed. This is currently my biggest concern if honest.

The balance and range of Jaguars now signed up is incredible with everything from an SS100 through to Mk II's, an XK140, a D-Type, E-Types, and a huge range of modern models. Additionally we now have just 26 places available!

I have been watching the weather forecast, and so far, all still looks good for us with a chance of the odd shower but generally warm with a mix of clouds and sun.

If you haven't signed up yet please consider signing up and joining us on the day - we have a great Jaguar day out for you :-)

Ok, so here's the weekly info I know you have all been looking for - this is where we are so far, with 51 days yet to go :-)
