We have some news regarding this meet and the next..
I have been in touch with Harwoods Jaguar Brighton and they are now hoping to attend with not just one showroom car, but two.. they will either bring 2 showroom F-Types to our event, or 1 F-Type and 1 XK Dynamic for us to look over!
They have also said that we will have a showroom XE at the May 2015 Convoy & Meet!
Additionally I am in negotiations withe MotorGeek, who have been kind enough to supply us with some great product samples and discounts for the December meet, and they have agreed in principle to sponsor the Welcome Packs for the next meet - as I hear more I will of course update you...

I'm just hoping all goes smoothly on the day - usually there is a lull in new signups in the last week before a meet with a last rush in the last couple of days before the meet - and this seems to be the case so far with this meet - but if there is a last minute rush at the end of the week we could be looking at a line up of 60 cars for this meet :-) ..
I'm very much looking forward to meeting everyone on the day, and hoping it will generate some interest in what we can acheive in May 2015 :-) and yes I do have some bigger plans on the go for that one - esp being a Jaguar exclusive event!

Just spent the morning cleaning the car. Still not close to how clean I'd like it to be.. But I've hopefully broken the back of dog hairs mud and children's rubbish grin and next Saturday I can get it that bit closer to presentable :-) I'll add your passenger in and change Jubba to his new login name on Monday. Not going to even try doing that on my mobile :-)
Hopefully Monday we'll have an idea on Sundays weather too.
Sent whilst mobile so please excuse any mistakes or misspellings.

If you are still undecided whether to come, or have already signed up by posting on here or emailing me at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk here are the very latest stats on our favourite bi-annual event.. JUST 6 DAYS TO GO!
We have Welcome Packs for the first time.. with many thanks to our new event sponsors!
We have Harwoods Jaguar Brighton in attendance with hopefully either two showroom F-Type Coupes, or one showroom F-Type and a showroom XK Dynamic to look over
We have Tony from Harwoods Jaguar Brighton and Kevin from The Automatic Gearbox Centre to answer any sales, or transmission enquiries you have.
We have 48 cars signed up so far for the Pease Pottage to Brighton Convoy to make a huge entrance in Brighton at the start of the main meet.
We have 54 cars signed up for the main meet itself so far!
We have booked the Madeira Cafe for £5 fixed price breakfast & tea/coffee.
The parking is just £1 an hour on Madeira Drive for this meet.
You get to see Jaguars right from a 1968 Mk2 through to the very latest 2014 models
You also get to see TVR Tuscans, a Noble, BMW, possibly a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Morgan 3 wheeler, a Mclaren MP4 and more...
Gary, owner of The Jag Gallery has kindly suggested photo shoots with his gallery as a backdrop for anyone who would like that...
And finally and most importantly you get to meet the people you meet on the forums in real life, to see their cars, talk and get to know everyone better! It is a great social event easing the Christmas rush for us and giving us a break as only a JaguarForums.com 'Convoy and Meet' can!
If you look further up the thread you will find the itinerary and loads of info on the event.. so go on, even if you are unsure I am sure your car would love the event.. why not pop a post on this thread or just email me and put your name forward?
Additionally, as promised, I am working on the next Bi-Annual Convoy and Meet, and am currently starting to take bookings here: UK South East Meet Spring/Summer 2015 in Brighton so if you can't make this one don't worry you can now put your name forward for the next one and still guarantee yourself a good Jaguar day out:-) Equally if you attend our bi-annual meets regularly you may want to get signed up now for the next one :-)

The days itinerary is listed below for your info, so you know when you need to be where for this event...
The parking is pay and display at this location and is £1 for an hour, £2 for two hours, £4 for four hours, or £7 for 11 hours (I would suggest for most people the £4 parking option will be sufficient). Your meal will be £5.00 per person.. so hopefully no shocks or surprises if you are on a budget
08:15 Meet at Pease Pottage Service Station at the base of the M23.
08:20 Initial 'Welcome to the Event' greeting, and packs handed out.
08:30 Depart in convoy for Brighton (cruising speed 65mph)
09:15 Park up in one large parking block in Madiera Drive.
09:30-10:30 Big Breakfast in Madiera Cafe (b/fast + tea/coffee for £5 only)
10:30 General social events etc. start
11:30 Group signings of banner, and group photos for the forums

Just had a look at the Pease Pottage Services website and it has a small carpark - we might fill it and then some! The "overflow" parking is in Parish Lane, Finches Field and Old Brighton Road South.
http://www.peasepottage.info/moto-service-station
For those as unfamiliar as myself with this services, it is not actually on the M23...
Unlike most service stations, the one at Pease Pottage is a short distance away from the motorway:
Leave the M23 at junction 11.
Get in the left-hand lane on the slip road.
Once past the traffic lights, the entrance to the service station is a couple of hundred yards along on the right-hand side of the road.
To return to the M23, turn left on leaving the service station. The sign to the motorway is not ideally placed, and a surprisingly large number of people miss it.
See y'all on Sunday! :-)

Hi Paul - thanks for the direction info for people, for the day. The services are literally at the very end of the M23, where it becomes the A23. If you get as far as the A23 you have gone too far :-)
At the last meet we had 20 to 30 cars and most if not all mananged to park to the left as you enter the car park there, if I remember - it all depends on the numbers on the day - but hopefully we will all fit (fingers crossed).
I have been hearing today about five more cars have been trying to get hold of me unsuccessfully for some reason, to join the meet so there may be quite a few more yet to add..
Meanwhile I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone on the day :-)

The HGV's tend to park to the right, and *usually* not that many people there that early on a Sunday morning so we will hopefully be OK.
We will officially be there for about 15 minutes or so just to make sure everyone is there, they know where we are going ultimately, the goody bags have gone as far as possible, and we have a quick group pic for the sponsors .. phew.. :-)
