Hi Mike,

As always Christmas and New Year have been busy times, and currently quite a few plans/projects on hold for a month or two.. including getting a chance to clean my baby jag properly, fix all the little problems that crop up through wet and cold weather, and sit down with a calendar and sort a date for the second biannual meet and get organising and pushing for anything we can sort for it.. maybe with Jaguar if I can swing it..

I am figuring on the month of May being the best bet... I will be looking at dates, and trying to get a date that suits the most the best (bad grammar I know :-)) during second half of February.. and then start a fresh push to get everything finalised and in place.

Keep the ball rolling Steve, this should be a good meet.

By the by, we may have something similar coming up shortly in the next month or so, see here.....https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...y-tour-111085/

I may need the banner at that time, but will let you know

Thanks

Jim

Hi All,

Apologies for being so quiet for the past couple of months but there has been quite a bit going on with family events as always with me just after Christmas.. Things are very much green light and go.. In view of one or two members who may not be able to make an earlier date - I am looking at Sunday 4, 11, 18, or 25th May.. and whichever of those dates works best for the most of us.. please let me know which dates work best for you and I'll try to organise for the best date for everyone.

As soon as we have a date I can get the online advertising kicked off, and try to persuade Jaguar that there is an event in Brighton coming up that deserves their attention, and I will try to get the other forums' members involved as well if I can.. I am fine for any of the four dates.. how about you?

Hi All,

Just a reminder - as everything has been quiet for a while (my fault) of who is hopefully coming to the up and coming meet - gorgeous weather (hopefully) with the Brighton seafront and promenades as the backdrop.. If you would like to come along and have not put yourself down for this please do.. the more the better our chances.. and you are not signing anything away by signing up - plus you guarantee yourself, and your car a great day out!!

If we can get the numbers up, and with this meet being in warm weather (one Sunday in May) and more tourists in Brighton I am hoping we can swing something with Jaguar for the day...

Just so you know who has indicated an interest (in no particular order) in attending on the day, so far it looks like this....

If you would like to be added please just make a post saying so (or if non member email me to be added) and I will be happy to add you to the list.

Listed below are Car details plus occupants (inc driver) where we have the info.

The 4th and 18th are completely free for me; the 11th is a Grand Prix weekend (F1 fanatic), but I can always record it; I won't be available on the 25th.

Don't worry RGP - the rain should have gone - hopefully the promenades etc will have survived as they make for a great Victorian (I think? grin) engineering triumph backdrop for luxury engineered cars such as our Jaguars :-))

Hi all,

It was a close call, but I've decided to keep my jag.

That being the case, I can make 11th or 18th.

Welcome back me. Lol. Not that I actually went anywhere.

Mike.

Default 18th and 25th

I can make the 18th and 25th May.

Can't make the others, if I pull out of my wedding now, I dont think there will be another "Drive Day"..

Cheers

Default Difficult................

Hi guys,

Sorry, but the only Sunday that I could possibly make in May is the 25th. I am working the 4th and 11th and have already booked a week-end away on the 18th. :-(
