OK here's a quick summary for today:
We have 52 cars, 78 people so far attending,
Free Welcome Packs & goodies,
Breakfasts from 99p children/£2.99 adults,
Parking £10 for four hours,
Free prize draw for SNG Barratt goodies,
Hopefully a pay per ticket prize draw for Jaguar UK goodies with all takings going to charity,
The new XE's in attendance,
Test drive bookings being taken,
The Automatic Gearbox Centre & Harwoods Jaguar to hand to answer all your questions,
Photo shoots,
and more..
I am currently (slowly) sorting the information packs that will go in the Welcome Packs, chasing and trying to get us newspaper coverage (yes I have already tried the presenters from Top Gear & The Classic Car Show to no avail), trying to get our Twitter profile fully active (@JFBrightonMeets #MayJagMeet) and am still on the hunt for any other potential sponsors for our event..
As always I will let you know where I manage to get a degree of success :-)

The next Bi-Annual Brighton Convoy & Meet will be happening on 24th May 2015 - Just FIVE weeks away now! This meet will be our fourth one, and we will have been running this event for two years now!
This Spring/Summer event is Jaguar exclusive, but if you have a car of another marque don't worry - the Winter event will again be open to all marques with a warm Jaguar welcome for everyone.
For those who don't know, the event comprises of two components - an initial meet at Pease Pottage Services with Welcome packs and goodie bags handed out, and a convoy at a steady 65mph down to the main meet and event in Madiera Drive, Brighton. The distance is approx 24 miles on major roads which should ensure all attendees can manage it without issue.
At the main meet in Brighton we have breakfasts (from £2.99), photo shoots, socialising, industry attendees there to answer all those questions you have never managed to get answered, a FREE prize draw for some SNG Barratt goodies, and more - and all with the backdrop of the Victorian promenades, and everything a family could possibly want on a day out with the Pier, the beaches, the sea gently rolling in, the Proms, and a huge local shopping centre.
This year we are sandwiched in the middle of a month of MG, Mini, and Classic Car Meet days so I am sure our meet will raise a lot of interest... esp with one or two brand new showroom XE's there, literally *just* delivered to Harwoods Brighton, hopefully in attendance on the day!!
We are already listed as an official event with Brighton & Hove, & East Sussex Councils - and I am working on trying to get further advertising and newspaper coverage in place if I can,,
If you would like to attend this convoy and meet ( a guaranteed great day out for you, your family and your car) please put your name forward and I will be happy to add you in.
You can put a post up on this thread if you wish to attend, or you can email me at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk - either way I will happily add you in.. as usual I need to know if you wish to attend just the main meet, or the meet and the convoy, your car and year, and how many people will likely be travelling in the car..
We even have a NEW live Twitter feed for our event @JFBrightonMeets #MayJagMeet - why not follow our updates, news and info as we go there?
The itinerary, parking, & breakfast costs are all listed in this thread, so there are no surprises for those of us on a budget - but the event itself as such is FREE and will remain so.
Should you be without your car for any reason on the day please contact anyone below listed as having free seats - we look after our own and would still love you to be able to come!

Steve,
Does the Drake's Hotel live webcam cover the route to the venue?
brighton pier webcam | brighton beach webcam | drakes hotel
I was watching it on the day of your last Brighton meeting but never saw a single Jaguar!

Incidentally I haven't quite given up on the additional possible industry attendee & am hoping for an update on their availability by Monday.
If they are up for it it will be great with three companies attending covering everything from sales to servicing, to maintenance, and repairs making your visit to the meet even more productive for you with hopefully all your questions answered :-)

Just a quick summary,
Harwoods Jaguar Brighton, and The Automatic Gearbox Centre are confirmed attendees - just waiting to hear from a third possible industry attendee
The forum threads for our meet have had over 14,500 viewings
Our Twitter feed @JFBrightonMeets now has 9 followers, and more keeping an eye on hashtag #MayJagMeet
We have 54 cars and 80 people signed up
I am also waiting for (and hoping) on feedback regarding the TV coverage lead
We have Welcome Packs full of info and some goodies etc for you
Our convoy should make a huge impression on arrival in Brighton
Breakfasts, whilst not fixed price are from £2.99 adults, 99p children and unlimited
Jaguars new baby, the XE should be in attendance for you to check out
We have a free prize draw with prizes kindly donated by SNG Barratt
All this PLUS the seaside, fish and chips, socialising over breakfast, able to ask questions regarding sales, servicing, maintenance and repairs, over 50 cars from 1968 to present day to check out, and just a great family day out as only Jaguar can do!
If you are not signed up yet please consider doing so as it is set to be a great day.. if you have Twitter why not follow us or at least keep an eye on the hashtag #MayJag meet for all the latest info, & news as we go, and on the day. Our threads will be kept up to date and are the place to sign up if you want to come along, or you can just email me at JaguarForumsUK@solidlinux.co.uk to be added in...

Does anyone else have a spare seat in case of anyone being without their car on the day due to accident or breakdown?
We have two attendees so far, listing spare space if needed, from Berkshire and Hackney, anyone from any other areas have spare space in case?
It just might make the difference to one of us having a 'bad car day', ensuring they can make the meet despite it and still have a great Jaguar day :-)
Many thanks in advance for anyone who can offer a seat just in case..

The next Bi-Annual Brighton Convoy & Meet will be happening on 24th May 2015 - Just over FOUR weeks away now! This meet will be our fourth one, and we will have been running this event for two years now!
