Hi Everyone - it's Stats Friday *but* I am busy setting my day jobs' UK office staff up for a transfer to working from home. As of Monday night I believe that will include me too since most of my IT & Tech support I can do from home remoting onto users computers.

So, this week is more of a synopsis of where we are currently - rather than figures..

The majority of our event sponsors are happy to switch to our new date, and I believe that everyone who has booked a trade stand will still be doing so on our revised date.

We have only (so far) had one cancellation by an attendee (due to a date clash) and have two more possible cancellations so have retained far more attendees than I had feared we might lose.

I don't believe there is anyone that I haven't either notified about the change in date, or will be aware from our website, Facebook group, or Telegram chat group.

Our accomodation block has moved forward seamlessly retaining the current bookings, Denbies have cancelled our May booking and agreed our new booking date, and we are back to promoting our event, getting as many Jaguars signed up for the day as we can, and giving everyone a Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners this Autumn :-)

My focus, whilst we work through the Corona Virus, getting it under control, is to work on expanding what we offer Jagsters - to ensure that everyone can access the support they need for their Jag with more club listings, more specialists, promoting our chat group, and of course the Classifieds that allow you to buy and sell your jaguar parts safely and virus free :-)

I am extremely grateful for all the support I have had whilst getting everything moved around regarding our event - a massive Thankyou to everyone.. and now it is just a case of saying to you Please keep safe, as we want to see you at our next event - and if you know any great clubs and specialists our event website does not yet list please, please let me know.

Hi Guys,

Just a very brief update in view of the current Corona virus situation here in the UK. Firstly I am now working from home and whilst everything is on hold regarding our event I will not be quite as busy with things here as I usually am. Secondly our Facebook group and Instagram membership/following is increasing quite quickly as people start to come to us for info on where to find support, parts, service, and general news.

If anyone has any suppliers, repairers, parts suppliers etc they are happy to recommend to Jagsters please let me know and we can pop them up in our Recommended Specialists section - noting it is not just UK specialists we need recommendations on, we need global recommendations from anywhere a Jagster may be.

Additionally if you know of a great Jaguar club able to offer local support for Jagsters, again anywhere in the world, please let me know and we can get the details up for everyone.

Whilst a lot of us are working from home, may have lost their job due to this virus, or are helping on the front line supporting and helping people please help us to keep Jagsters in touch with everything out there for them and lets look after one another as best we can.

There is so much you can do.. you could post any pictures of your Jaguars on the event Facebook group, maybe write a review of a gadget or product you have recently brought that we can put on the event website, recommend clubs or suppliers, or maybe write a 'do-it-yourself' article for our upcoming tech support section on our website covering a simple job on your Jaguar that is so much easier if you know the tricks to make it easier.. so go on, why not make use of your spare time and help us as a community to support all the Jagsters in our community? Help us all, by helping ourselves - hmm, it definitely did not sound like that in my head when I thought about what to put.. lol.. but if ever there was a time for us to help one another online, and develop our event resources to enable even more support for Jagsters - this is the time... please keep safe wherever you are, and help us to help support Jagsters, wherever they are, and their incredible Jaguars.

I know Friday has always been Stats day for our event, but with the current Coronavirus lockdown, and Jagsters hopefully self isolating with their families, Friday has switched to a more general news and request day..

I am aware that some Jagsters have already gone down with this terrible virus, and my thoughts are with them and their families at this time.

I am also self isolating, and have been working from home since Monday night, and as of the 1st of April will be on Furlough leave.. which means a drop in 20% of my income, I am still employed but not allowed to work until taken off Furlough leave which is likely going to mean finally doing some gardening, and am planning to clean the interiors thoroughly on both the S-Type and the C1, which to be honest is well overdue.

Our annual event, for the first time ever, has been put back to 20th September (subject to review as we go) and now we need to fill our time at home with some Jaguar goodness to keep us going a few more months.

I am looking for ways in which we can top up on our Jaguar time as I call it, and am looking for anyone who may be able to help with any of the following, enabling us to help all of us get through the cabin fever involved with everything currently..

Any recommended suppliers/repairers/parts suppliers we can add to our Specialist Register.
Also if you would like to second someone already recommended please let me know and I can add another star.

Any stories you may have about your time with Jaguars.

Details of any clubs or forums that you can recommend to other Jagsters.

Oddly, if you know any Jaguar orientated jokes they would be very welcome in our Telegram chat group to help brighten some peoples days up.

If you know any quick fixes for Jaguar issues - why not write a quick guide or article and we will put it up on our event website for everyone.

Anything anyone can do to help lighten things for our fellow Jagsters and help us get through this time of Coronavirus and the restrictions would be fantastic.

Any of the above can be emailed to me at stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsuk.com, equally any ideas anyone has are very, very welcome.

Meanwhile please keep yourself and your family safe there, as we want to see you at our next event :-)

and Finally Thankyou so much to everyone for your continued support of our event :-)

I know it's not a Friday, in fact it is only just a Tuesday but I just wanted to update everyone with regard to me, and what I am up to.. today is my last day working from home for my day job - as of tonight I will be in furlough leave - effectively time off work, but less money than ever and no where to go anyway :-( So whilst there will not be much going on in the way of event updates for a while I will likely be posting how I get on with all the outstanding jobs I can do on my S-Type with what I have available to me.. giving you a great chance to point out where I may be going about things wrongly, or even rightly, and maybe even giving anyone else who is off work ideas on what they can do for their Jag in this period with resources we all have to hand (and those of you who know me, know I have only ever had the basics - even that is debatable apparently lol)

Everyone please keep safe, at home, and taking care of those around you whilst I educate you all on how I do things here lol :-)

Running out of excuses not to do anything about the paintwork, now that the woodshed is finished.
Sandpaper or flamethrower?

It's actually way worse since I took this photo last month but incredibly interesting to watch; like a large zit developing.

Hi Guys and Welcome to our usual Friday Stats :-)

In amongst all the news regarding our event this week, the most important things is that you keep yourself, and your family safe, wherever you may happen to be, as we want to see you safe and well (and your Jaguar) at our next event, so please continue to take care, wherever you are, until this pandemic is under control.

As you will be aware, we have moved the date of our 2020 Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners to the 20th September - and potentially our first ever autumn event for you guys. Our choice of date seems to be in line with sporting organisations estimates of when events are likely to be resuming, so I am very hopeful that we can acheive a great day out for everyone this year this autumn.

Because of the coronavirus lockdown, we have understandably had no further signups for our event, however (unlike your average Jaguar event) things have been anything but quiet here :-)

I have managed to get all our archive images from our 2014 event right through to our 2019 event online on the event website for everyone.. just visit the 'Image Archive' tab on the website and you can check them out year by year :-)

Our event website (yep, still not a web designer lol) has also started to improve with a new, more subtle colour scheme, and the textual content being fine tuned with a few errors I finally spotted, being corrected.

Our Specialist Register now has its first recommended European specialist listed :-) If anyone has a specialist in their area in the UK, Europe or the world that they trust and recommend, please let me know as I can make sure our fellow Jagsters also know of them and can make contact with them if they need them.

As well as our website improving, with even more there to help connect you with anything you and your Jaguar need, our social media side has been developing in the past week, as more and more Jagsters are looking to connect with our event online. Our Twitter feed has remained fairly constant but our Facebook group, and Instagram accounts have been gaining followers like never before.

Our Instagram, & Twitter feeds are there to keep you in touch with the latest news, info, and pics from our event, whilst our Facebook group keeps you in touch with the very latest news from around the world about Jaguar, and what Jagsters are upto currently. Our Telegram chat group keeps Jagsters in touch with all the latest gossip and chat not just about our event but also everything around our event. And then there is our Facebook page which gives you a chance to check out our event and what is going on without getting too involved :-)

If you haven't checked out our event yet, please consider popping over to JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners and taking a look at us.. you will find clubs, forums, & specialists all there - enabling you to find any support you need for your Jaguar. Plus you can check out our Image Archive, story of the Marque, check out up and coming events around the UK and the world, and more.. and if you follow our Instagram feed, Twitter feed, or Telegram chat group, or our Facebook group you can keep up with everything that we are up to..

For those of you waiting on the stats this week - I have gone through everything and there is only a few figures that have really changed, or stand out, and I have listed them below for you:

An incredible 36276 forum thread hits
A massive jump to 895 people following our Instagram account
A huge increase to 917 Jagsters signed up with our Facebook group
A steady increase to 4971 people friending our Facebook page
A rock steady 628 people following us on Twitter
A huge (for us) 1246 Web Page hits

Top 5 countries visiting our website this week:

1 - UK
2 - Germany
3 - Australia
4 - Netherlands
5 - South Africa

Just a quick update for you all.. not only do we now have all the archive images from the event on the event website, but we have some product reviews coming up for must have items, not just for those with older Jaguars, but for those with modern Jaguars too - so well worth keeping an eye on things there - and after a short break due to everyone on the event team seetling into social isolation we have a new and improved trivia quiz for you on the events Facebook Group - again well worth a visit, and you may well get your name up in lights there too!

I know that CoronaVirus not only has a huge impact on as all in terms of it's impunity to life, but but also in terms of everything we used to be able to do, and now cannot currently, so I am doing my best to get as much of everything Jaguar online as I can for you via the forum threads, website, Facebook group and more to keep you guys topped up with Jaguar goodness :-)

Our events Instagram following has shot up in this period and we are just 10 people or so short of 1000 followers now (double the numbers from before lockdown), our Twitter feed is also starting to pick up more followers too, our Facebook page has 5000 followers (which I think is the limit set by Facebook) and the Facebook group now has over 900 members..a massive Thankyou to everyone for continuing to support our event even when we cannot run an event :-) and if you haven't joined our event Telegram group, entered our free trivia quiz, checked out our Instagram and Twitter feeds yet - please do :-)

Hi Guys, Welcome to our usual Friday Stats day, on a Saturday :-)

One day just blends into another currently for all of us but whilst our event may still be on hold, and waiting for lockdown to hopefully ease by our next planned date of 20th September, we still have quite a bit going on for you and quite a bit of event news :-)

Our forum threads have still been heavily hit in the past week and now have received an incredible 37,485 hits.

Our website has been quieter but we are still proving to be of interest to Jagsters around the globe with the top five countrie visiting us being 1) United Kingdom 2) Germany 3) Canada 4) United States 5) Cyprus which is incredible!

We have been working heavily on our events' online presence and Jagsters around the globe have been signing up to follow our event! Our Instagram account has shot up and we now have an incredible 1020 followers, and it is growing as we go of its own accord as more and more Jagsters, and other non Jagsters find us and want to know more.

Our Twitter feed has also been growing, not as fast but none the less growiung steadily and we have 642 followers.

Our Facebook group has grown and at 924 members is almost at the magic 1000 members we are hoping for :-)

We have two incredible product review coming very shortly:

One review is for everyone who has a Jaguar and are worried about possible overheating - we all know how V8s react to overheating, so please keep an eye out for it appearing on our event website - a great product from one of our event sponsors.

The other review is for all of us looking at foggy headlamps on our Jaguars and curious about the effectiveness of quick fix headlamp restorers.. do you need to get your headlamps professionally refurbished or is it something you can sort quickly and cheaply at home? We will give you all the gen on one of the DIY systems available at a good price.

If you have not yet signed up with any of our social media accounts, please consider doing so, as a lot of information not just about our Jaguars, but also JLR, general lockdown news regarding us, sponsors info, general chat and news and so much more.. you can find our event on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, our Facebook Group, and even a Telegram chat group? We would love to have you onboard, and remember through our event website we connect you with specialists, clubs, forums, and so much more..

This week Ionut has taken our weekly trivia quiz to a whole new level, still free to enter, but with double the questions and a whole new opportunity to have your name up in lights as one of our 'Most Knowlegeable Jagster' of the week - you can find it on our Facebook group.

Please keep an eye out for the product reviews coming, giving you the lowdown on two great products you can't be without, and if you can help us get to over 1000 members in our Facebook group ar get us to 100 members of our Telegram chat group it would be fantastic, and help us keep you really connected with everything you need.. all the info on where you can find us can be found on the event website at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners - and we guarantee a very warm welcome to all Jaguar owners no matter what Jaguar you have, or your walk of life.. showroom, customised, school run, project, or just on the road all equally welcome..

Thankyou very much from the whole team at JaguarforumsUK for sticking with us during the lockdown, and we promise to help keep you topped up on Jaguar goodness even whilst we are all off the road.

OK, if you are suffering (like me) with foggy headlamps on your Jaguar, and would rather not spend £60 plus on having them professionally recoated you may want to read the new review on our event website (JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners) - I have been trying out a kit that promises to clear your headlamps on a budget, and without any hard work - and yes I have been there over the years with emery paper, electric drills, T-Cut, and more - why not check out the review and see what you think?

Welcome to our friday Stats, on a Saturday :-)

Most importantly, and foremost, I hope everyone is keeping theirselves, and families safe, and maybe like me, making use of the time available to get some work done on your Jaguars, where needed :-)

This week I tried tracking down two replacement wheel nuts, and found a great deal on a heater valve instead lol (my current one intermittently fries everyone in the car just when they least expect it :-)) but then found I couldn't get the wheel nuts from the same place...so as always with a simple job I am still on the case days after I started :-) No idea at all why my better half comments that things are always complicated when I get involved :-)

If you aren't following the Jaguar Breakfast Club on social media - Peter has been popping up shots of his incredible Jaguar at a number of fantastic locations for people to figure out, really well worth hooking into to help you feel a little more out there, and to get your brain back into beating the sat nav before the current lockdown ends :-)

Meanwhile the news has been full of info regarding their plans to get production restarted which is great news. Links to the news articles and, as always the latest Jaguar info, can be found on our events Facebook group.

I have had very little feedback from potential sponsors in the past week, but it is to be expected and I now have them all on the backburner to follow up with nearer the point of lockdown easing.

Our events social media following has been continuing its development and is doing really well, way outstripping what I had expected of it - a massive Thankyou to everyone now following our event on social media be it Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.. please note that our Facebook page has already acheived its maximum friendings, so on Facebook your best option to follow the event is to join the event Facebook group - but you will also find all the latest Jaguar news links there hot off the press :-)

We are still on target for our 20th September 2020 event, subject to UK government advice and any restrictions and promise you our biggest and best grassroots Jaguar event to-date :-)

The event website carries all sorts of event info for you, and now has the start of a growing review section too.. if you would be happy to review something you have purchased for your Jaguar please let me know - you would be credited on the review, and would be helping Jagsters worldwide know what products are best and do exactly what they say they do :-)

Equally if, like me, you have a Jaguar saga that seems to just be going on and on through lockdown why not let our fellow Jagsters know? We have a wealth of knowledge out there, may well have a quicker solution, or at worst case there will always be someone having even more of a saga :-)

All the info on everything can be found on the event website at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners, and you can contact anyone on the team from there - go on our event is in truth YOUR event - help us to make our event better meet everyones needs - on the home page there you can link to our Twitter account, Facebook group/page, Instagram account, and even join in the events chat group on Telegram :-)

Here are this weeks main event stats for you:

Our Instagram account has grown to a huge 1083 followers
Our Facebook page is maxed out at exactly 5000 friends
Our Twitter account has continued it steady growth and now has 661 followers
Our forum threads are still getting heavily hit and have now received 38,384 views

As for our event website the top five countries taking a look at us this week are:
1) UK
2) Germany
3) Ireland
4) Italy
5) USA

A massive and huge THANKYOU to everyone following our event and keeping up to date with us and our JLR news feeds as we get through this virus and related restrictions.

When restrictions ease we will be ready to give you the biggest and best ever Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners ever, with the incredible support you guys are giving us.

Please keep yourselves, and your families safe wherever you are, and let us know your stories, news, reviews and info and help us to help you keep all of us sane, informed and topped up with Jaguar goodness as we get through this.

It's Friday! And I have actually managed, this week, to get our weekly stats out on time :-)

This week our website has been fairly quiet, but our social media chanels have been more than making up for any temporary slowdown there with a huge increase not only in traffic but people getting involved from, well, everywhere :-)

As of last night, the UK government has said it is working on a way forward to start easing the lockdown here - I still do not know if our 20th Setember date is far enough forward in time but am becoming very hopeful - please watch this space :-)

Those of you who access our updates on JaguarForum.com may have noted that there was no update last week there - we had an issue with our weekly update being banned as a spam posting there. The issue seems to have been cleared since but if you would like to catch up with last weeks stats and news you can do so by visiting the News section on the event website.

I am happy to be able to announce that our event team has grown with the addition of a new member - Jason Dodd.. please join me in making him feel very welcome to our event and the eco system that we are a part of. Jason Dodd is a very accomplished photographer with a huge portfolio and it is fantastic to have him come on board with us and join the team. Please keep an eye on his new section on our event website (JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners) 'Car Photography' as it develops and in the meanwhile you can always check him out at https://www.jasondoddphotography.com/index.html.

Our social media channels have been incredibly busy, pretty much globally. Our Instagram account now has over 1100 followers (and is still growing) and even our Twitter account, which has always been steady on 600 or so followers now has over 700 followers - Jaguar owners, specialists and clubs are all starting to find us now and connect, which is fantastic.

Our International Club Register has been spotted by a Canadian Jaguar club and they asked to be added in this week too :-)

If you are a member of our events Facebook group you will have seen in the news that JLR is already gearing up with production restarting in a number of countries, which is great news and hopefully the very start of the automotive sector picking up again.

I would like to say Thankyou to Jason Dodd for choosing to join us, bringing his automotive photography experience and knowledge to JaguarForumsUK, and a Massive Thankyou to everyone that is supporting us, helping us keep everyone up to date not only with the news regarding things, but also helping us expand the range of support we offer Jagsters - a win win situation helping us to help you - and making us an incredible community :-)

Here are the main stats for you as to where we are this week:

Our Forum threads have received an incredible 39,162 hits
Our Facebook page is still maxed out with 5000 friends
Our Facebook group has 928 members
Our Instagram feed has shot up to 1153 followers
Our Twitter feed which seldom changes is now over 100 followers bigger at 761

Our website has been visited this week by the Jagsters from the following countries..

Top 5 countries in order of numbers:

1) UK
2) Germany
3) Canada
4) Italy
5) Phillipines

The Phillipines is new on our radar showing that we are becoming more known even further afield :-)

That's it for this week Guys.. please keep yourselves, your families, and of course your Jag's safe wherever you are and please keep an eye on our event - it may be lockdown but we still have a lot going on for you :-)

Hi Guys,

Yes I know it's not Friday yet so you are not expecting anything here - but - one of our event sponsors has approached us and may be willing to get involved in a project that everyone can get involved in during this lockdown..

We have a poll running on the events Facebook group to see how many of you would be interested in getting your Jaguar into the first ever JaguarForumsUK calendar - the calendar would be for 2021, and would have one Jaguar picture per month.

To enter your Jaguar, it would need to have either attended one of our events to-date, or be booked for our next event.. picture to be taken by the owner, and during lockdown.

All pictures would go to a poll, with the top 12 going into the calendar.

The calendar would be supporting the RNLI, and we would depend on enough Jagsters buying calendars to make it worth our event sponsor supporting us in this.

Please pop over to the poll and let me know what you think, and if enough of you are interested, and the event team and sponsor concur we'll get this on the go....

OK Guys, I have taken everyones thoughts onboard, and have assembled one of my win-win concepts for a JaguarForumsUK 2021 calendar, and have just emailed it to our sponsor.. I won't say who the sponsor is that is offering this collaboration until I know if they want to go ahead with this or not, and any tweaks or adjustments they may have to my concept.. but there is enough interest from you guys to make this work - Thankyou very, very much for your feedback - as always without you guys there is no event, or anything else - just me and tumbleweed :-) so a massive Thankyou for the push.. fingers crossed now and I will of course keep everyone up to date as soon as I know more.

Welcome to our usual Friday stats and news update.. second time in a row I have actually managed this on a Friday during the lockdown lol I will take that as a high five :-)

First of all a very warm welcome to everyone who has recently found our event and joined us - please feel free to make use of all the resources we have online for you, and if you have a repairer, or parts supplier for your Jaguar that you can recommend please drop the details to stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsUK.com and I will get the details up on our Specialist Register for everyone. Equally if you have a club near you please let us know as we also run a Cub Register for Jagsters.

Our event is not your typical event - we not only have our annual Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners, but also link you to all the support you and your Jaguar need, wherever you may be globally. We can link you to some incredible clubs, forums, parts suppliers, repairers, dealerships and more.

You can also join in our Telegram chat group, Facebook group and more as well as find our event on Instagram & Twitter.

We will have some news to come in the next few weeks regarding a chance for you to have your Jaguar in print for a whole month in 2021 - it will be free (as always with us) to enter your Jaguar - however you will need to have either attended one of our previous events, or be signed up for our next event in order to enter (if you are outside the UK & Eire you will still be able to enter though :-)) We will be supporting one of our two incredible supported charities - the RNLI with this. All the news, rules and info to follow as soon as everything is finalised.

OK, onto the stats side of things - you guys have been incredible!! Thankyou so very much for getting word of our event out there whilst we are in lockdown.. we have had substantial increases in followers on Twitter and Intagram, more people than ever joining our Facebook group (which carries general chat regarding Jaguares etc and has become a bit of a JLR news hub), and even our forum threads picking up a lot of hits.. a massive Thankyou to everyone who has chosen to get involved with us.

Our website has been quite busy, and we have (finally) split the Specialists section there into geographical areas to make it easier for you to locate specialists in your area.. so please feel free to check it out at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners and let me know if you know a specialist that you deal with that should be there.

This week the top five countries visiting our website (in order of numbers) is:

1) UK
2) Germany
3) United States
4) Netherlands
5) Romania

Romania is new on our radar - a very warm welcome to Jagsters there :-)

Our Forum threads have amassed an incredible 40,121 hits for this years event

You are helping us to connect so many more Jaguar owners with the resources they need such as forums, clubs, and specialists - Thankyou everyone for your support of our event!

As always there is a final thing I almost forgot about.. we are starting a membership list of Jagsters who are members of our Facebook group - it will be on our event website.. If you are happy to be included in it could you email your name, Jaguar model and year, and country of residence to me at stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsUK.com and I will get you added in.. it will give everyone an idea of what Jaguar models and years we support worldwide, and roughly where.. and help us to concentrate on models of Jaguar, and locations that require more support - a massive Thankyou in advance...

Ok, that's it, everything that you need to know about our event this week - please keep yourselves and your families safe wherever you may be & keep an eye out for the upcoming Jaguars in print project, and please let me know about clubs and specialists where you are *and* if you are happy to please let me know your name, Jaguar model/year and country so I can get you added into the membership list.

It's Friday already & Welcome to our usual Friday news and stats :-)

As you may know, we are working with one of our incredible event sponsors, Scratchshield to not only produce our first ever JaguarForumsUK calendar, but also support the incredible RNLI and give you a great chance to get your Jaguar in print. We have until the end of May to get all the entries in, and then you get to vote for your favourite entry in June. The top 12 will be in the 2021 calendar, and one of them will be chosen by Scratchshield as the Scratchshield Jaguar of the Year too.

To get your Jaguar into our 2021 calendar go to our event website at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners and click on the 2021 Calendar tab there. All the information you need to submit your Jaguar for voting is there, along with a link to where to send your picture and 140 characters of text to.

Our Specialist Register has almost doubled in size in the past week - but we very much need more information on Specialists globally now, as we really want to ensure all Jagsters, wherever you are can access recommended local support for you and your Jaguar - so if you know of any specialists in your area please get the details into us.

To get your recommendations into our Specialist Register just email your recommendations to stephen.sheldon@jaguarforumsUK.com along with all the contact info for them and we will get them added to the Register for you.

Our Instagram following has continued its incredible growth, and we are truly being followed globally now which is incredible.

We may have quite a bit going on, but we are also currently getting organised for our planned date of 20th September - if you would like to attend just visit our event website at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners and click on the 2021 Event tab - all the info on the event is there, along with how to sign up for it and if you want to see who, and what Jaguars are booked so far take a look in the 2021 Gallery where pictures of most of the attending Jaguars can be found.

A massive Thankyou to everyone for supporting our event despite the lockdown and temporary lacking of our event.. please feel free to get involved with everything we are doing here, and help us to help Jagsters worldwide, and if you get involved with the JaguarForumsUK 2021 calendar you will not only be potentially getting into print, but also helping us get the calendar on walls across the world, and help support one of our two nominated charities - the RNLI.

Less than two weeks to go until our Calendar competition closes to entries and a massive Thankyou to everyone who has submitted pictures so far.

Next month we will all be voting on the images, to select the ones we want to see through 2021 - so I have a few hints for anyone still yet to put an image in..

Bodywork shine/reflections will help promote our partner in the calendar - a lot of us already depend on the incredible Scratchshield wash system

Location, location, location - a background that adds to your Jaguar or gives it more context is important

If you have a Jaguar model that doesn't get as much general coverage, or is just unusual - maybe even customised or tweaked it is well worth getting an image in.

So go on, we all have pics of our Jaguars, maybe more of them than our families :-) get your images in before the end of May and you may well make our first ever JaguarForumsUK Calendar - not only will you be helping the RNLI with the sales of the calendar, but YOUR Jaguar will be on walls around the globe..

If you don't make the top 12 don't worry (subject to numbers) you will stiil appear on the back of the calendar so you don't miss out :-)

Plus, don't forget - Scratchshield will be picking out the Scratchshield Jaguar of 2021 for the May 2021 slot, the month of our 2021 event :-)

Good luck to everyone who has already entered, or will be entering before the end of May 2020!

(Don't forget full t&c's and details of how to enter Your Jaguar can be found under the '2021 Calendar' tab on our event website at JaguarForumsUK - The Great British Day Out for Jaguar Owners)
A massive Thankyou to Jeff Shield at Scratchshield for this incredible opportunity for all of us.. enabling us to do more than ever for you, and one of our supported charities.

Welcome to our usual Friday news and stats regarding our event.. :-)

Our calendar competition, working with the incredible Scratchshield on this, is doing better than expected with 46 entries online already. You only have until the end of May 2020 to get your entries in, and it is well worth doing so, and it may well be your Jaguar in print in our 2021 JaguarForumsUK Calendar.

A massive Thankyou to the team at Scratchshield for their support with this, with all proceeds from calendar sales going to one of our supported charities - the RNLI.

To enter Your Jaguar you need to have either attended one of our previous events, or be signed up for our next event if you are in the UK. If you are outside the UK you need to be a member of our facebook group.. just email your pics to calendar@jaguarforumsUK.com along with up to 140 characters describing the image.

In June everyone who is a member of our Facebook group gets to vote on the image they feel is best for our calendar - the top 12 get into the calendar, with one of them selected by Scratchshield as the Scratchshield Jaguar of the Year. If you miss out on the top 12 you still get your image onto the back of the calendar - how cool is that?

Proceeds from the sale of our calendar will go to the RNLI..

Meanwhile you can see all the images that we have so far on our event website under the '2021 Calendar' tab andf start to figure out which one your vote might be going on next month.

I have been making contact with companies in sectors that we do not currently work with, and am hoping we can get to a point where we can connect you with an even wider range of support than we do currently..

Our event website has a new section being run by Ionut Shupy - please take a look at it when you get a chance..

Our event date for this year is very much set as 20th September, and we are watching the current easing of the lockdown very carefully - and whilst we cannot be sure yet, we are very very hopeful that we can run our event (usually this weekend) as an Autumn event for you guys - and will be amongst the first and biggest grassroots events to run after lockdown giving you a great chance at a day out, JaguarForumsUK style :-)

OK, time for some stats for those of you wanting to know how we are doing..

Our forum threads have now received an incredible 41,809 hits
Our event Facebook Group (well worth joining) now has 952 members
Our event Facebook Page (you can link to the group from there) has 5000 friends
Our Instagram account is still growing and we have 1514 followers there
Our Twitter account has 854 followers
Our Calendar Competition has 46 entries so far

The top five countries accessing our event website in the past week (in order of numbers) are:

1) United Kingdom
2) United States
3) Germany
4) Romania
5) Netherlands

And this is also represented in our calendar competition with images from around the globe - the entries from furthest from the UK currently is Malaysia!

Please keep yourselves, your families and your Jaguars safe wherever you are, and don't forget to sign up for our September 20th 2020 event, and to get your calendar entries in before the end of this month...
