So things are ready! Just need a couple more weeks to pass.

Steve,

I hope you're taking the opportunity before the actual day to have the banner strung across the front of your house for maximum advance publicity.

OK less than a month to go - we have advertising, a location, a banner, and JaguarForum emblems.. and a date of the 1st December with a time 10:30am.. with a number of members already signed up.. anyone else want to come along for a day by the seaside? This is a chance for a day out with others that share your interest in Jaguars.. to compare notes, ideas, thoughts, to appear in pics on here and in the local papers in Brighton as a JaguarForums.com member on the first ever official Brighton meet.. why not let Jim or myself know, or put a message up here if you are interested in coming along and helping make this meeting a real first year event.. come on at worst case it's just the cost of parking your car for a morning of our first ever Brighton meet.. drop us a line, or post - and come along!!

Ok just over two weeks to go until the meet - Jim, do you have access to anything regarding the history, or worldwide size of the forum, or the suchlike that we could maybe feed to the newspapers to get a story running before the event?
Also, anyone wanting to meet in Crawley, and travel down the A23 in convoy *please* drop me a line on here, and if anyone else would like to come along and swell our ranks in Brighton for this our first ever Brighton meet... please, please step forward.. it's going to be a great day on the seafront with photo's going up on here, as well as in the local paper, a chance to meet with the rest of us Jaguar owners in the South-East.. with the classical promenade behind us, fish and chips shops and pier - a good day out whether you want to socialise, talk cars, or just have some fun for all ages :-)

Hi Mike, Yes definitely looking forward to it... it's going to be a good day - I am hoping to get the local Brighton paper running a story of some kind on it so we have something in print for our first Brighton meet - and yes it'll be a great chance to put faces to names, and cars to people :-) I am hoping a few will meet in Crawley and cruise down as it'll make it even more of an event...
Jim, I'll PM you in the next few days with some ideas of what we could put forward to the paper and let's see if we can get the meet in print with a story as well as pictures :-)
Meanwhile - anyone who hasn't put their name forward but wants to come along please put your name forward so we can add you to the list which gives everyone an idea as to how many are coming along..

It's been a while since I last visited this site (sorry!) and have upgraded my Jag since then, I may be tempted to come along to show it off. Is parking much hassle there nowadays? I haven't visited the town of my birth for some years and remember it being quite busy along the Parade, though that has been in summer! How much change should I bring? :-)

Hi scm,

Yeah, come along. It'll be a great day.

Bring £10 in change. If it's too much, you can pay for mine too.

On a separate note, I've got a basic OBD 2 reader that I can pop on to anyone's car that needs it.

Thanks
Mike

Once word of this offer gets out, expect massive tailbacks on the A23.

Cool Just maybe.............

There is a very, very slim chance that I will in fact be able to make it in the day. If I can I will let you know the day before. If I don't make it I hope that you guys all have a great time.
