Welcome to the forum PGKEVIN,
Two entirely different things:
1. the Workshop Manual for the 2002 XJ8 was part of JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System) - originally an online systems for Jaguar Dealers but widely available on CD or as a free download from the forum. Comprehensive instructions for repair and maintenance of the vehicle.
2. the Owners Manual (Drivers Handbook) formed part of the Vehicle Literature Pack supplied with each new vehicle. Long out of print but often available from specialist Jaguar Breakers who recover these packs from vehicles that are scrapped.
Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Both Workshop Manuals and Parts Catalogues are available to Dealers (and anyone else who chooses to pay) through the online portal, JLR TOPIx which superseded JTIS in 2004:

JTIS (Jaguar Technical Information System) is just the Workshop Manual.
![Workshop manual-jtis.jpg](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/attachments/uk-eire-68/212072d1522087005t-workshop-manual-jtis.jpg)
The sections are:
1. Service Manuals
2. Electrical Guides
3. Diagnostic Trouble Codes
4. Maintenance Schedules
5. Battery Care Manuals
6. Pre-Delivery Inspection Manuals
7. New Vehicle Storage Manuals
JEPC (Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalogue) is a separate set of Parts Catalogues.

Most models back to the E-Type are included.
JTIS can be downloaded from General Tech Help:

There is a link on the forum to JEPC but it is several years out of date.
