X Type A/C cooling fan continually running.

2008 Jaguar X Type 2.2D estate. OBD fault detail is: Air Con pressure sensor circuit malfunction. Please can anybody advise as to what needs doing to get fan to switch on only when engine or A/C requires it to instead of always on ?
