X type intermittent engine cut out
Hi,
my x type 2.0L diesel cuts out when you ask it to work. Overtake etc. I have had the fuel filter, fuel metering valve and a faulty injector replaced to no avail. Fault codes still the same metering valve function and fuel rail pressure?
when the fault occurs the glow plug light flashes and the engine cuts out instantly. Switch off ignition and switch on again engine starts every time. Any help would be appreciated. Ian m.

Hi Ian,
If you had a petrol X-Type I may have been able to help - but I have never had a diesel X-Type - you would be best off posting this into the X-Type forum where there are a number of X-Type owners with diesels that should be able to assist you - take a look here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/
