XJ350 Front Suspension

XJ350 Front Suspension
The Car was fitted with new Front struts on 8th August and worked perfectly well on normal driving conditions. No indication of a Fault on suspension showed .
After hitting a very pot holed road. The car displayed "Suspension Fault" (1 month later) On looking at the Nearside Strut top The Electric connector looked suspicious .
After notifying the suppliers of the faulty Strut. I await their comments.
I replaced the Faulty Connector which fitted better than before.
During this time I still had Ride height on the Front struts but still with warning light.
I took it too a garage (different from the one who fitted the new struts) to confirm that the Nearside strut was faulty which they have done by using another strut which confirmed that the installed was faulty.
On collection of my car I noticed that the front suspension was now lower than before and was difficult to return home but I did.
So now I have a car with Front Struts Up in the wheel Arch and rear still with height. Display showing "Fault" A possible battle with New Strut Supply on compensation. And a car I assume needing a truck to go back too garage.
Is there any way I can clear the system fault or kick start some pressure to the front. I have been told you can clear the current messages by removing the battery leads.
Any guidance will be appreciated.
