Default Your new Regional Co-ordinators!!

OK Guys, here I am as a "volunteered" coordinator. JimC64 persuaded me !

As many of you will know, I have been posting on Jaguar Forums for quite a time, mainly in the X350, XJ Series 1, 2, & 3, and the older Jag forums. I currently have an X350, and from 1988 to 2002 had a Series 3 4.2. Prior to that I rebuilt a Mark 2 2.4 from a bare shell between 1980 to 1987. So I am well familiar with the older Jags, and familiar with the issues on the X350, (FWIW not all that many, they just cost far too much to fix IMHO).

JimC64 suggests we might organise a Meet at some point and some other things rather than being "all-internet". However, I have to be a bit cautious on this and I certainly don't propose to go into competition with the excellent Jaguar clubs we have in the UK who run excellent meetings and rallies. I also realise the cost of fuel can be a serious issue for people attending rallies and meetings. However, I'll have a think and come back on this one.

I am a member of both the UK Jaguar clubs, and attend the Cheshire group meetings of the JEC. I am also an MG Midget enthusiast with a 26,000 mile original car from 1977, and am a member of the MG Midget & Sprite Club.

I'll try to post a couple of pics as soon as I can, but will be on holiday in Germany from 12th to 16th August, in the Jaguar of course !! Here is a picture of our fleet. Yes, four in total, the Fiat 500 is a new arrival for my daughter, and the VW New Beetle is the wife's.

Well done!

You might want to tweak the thread title (You're -> Your).

The thread is over two years old but accuracy is everything. I've edited the title.

Hi Guys,
please help me to welcome Steve Sheldon onboard as the Regional Coordinator alongside Fraser for the UK.

Steve has already organised the now famous Brighton meet events and is really up for the challenge. I'm sure he'll make a great addition to the team.

With Steve down South, Fraser mid country and anything I can do up North I'm sure we'll have it covered pretty well.

Thanks Steve

Jim

Many thanks for the warm welcome to the team Jim.. and for the kind comments about the Brighton meets.

I am currently working on ideas for next years spring/summer meet - trying to get the resources in place for an even bigger event :-) as well as starting to take 'bookings' for a mid December meet to get rid of those winter doldrums we all get at that time of year..

I will do my best to help where I can with anything happening in the South of the UK, and well, feel free to get in touch, or give me a poke if there's anything I can do & I haven't spotted it :-)

Steve,

(Apologies for the delayed reply - I've just returned from a 5K mile drive across France and Spain and am catching up.)

Congratulations and welcome to the team. I have no doubt from your efforts organising the Brighton meetings that you'll do an excellent job.

Graham
