Bigguy3903,
Sorry did not even realize that was you when I talked to you. I helped with parking issues and we chatted for a short bit. You ride looked good. Hope to see you at next one, each one gets better and better. I was stunned looking at a 'watermellon' colored Bentley. She left and showed its launch capabilities.......

There never was a successful meet up in Sanford. We tried it out a number of times but never got more than 2 Forum guys to show up. I suppose you could call that a meet, but certainly not a successful one.
However. there still is the monthly gathering of the Orlando Automotive Club in Sanford that is worth a look or 2. They are heavy into exotics and ho hum Porsches and "tuners". Your Jag will get hardly a glance by the room temp. IQ crowd that is drawn to this event. They are, however, a very welcoming bunch to any well detailed Jag and you will get a spot in the line up if you desire, no notice required. I should mention that they always have a few "super cars" that are well worth the trip to see.
I haven't been for 6 months or so but that was my experience. The Orlando Jag dealers, 1st Collier and then Millenium, used to occasionally show up with new Jags but I think they gave it up as well.

I would like to see if there would be any interest in a one day get together for the central Florida crowd. I am located in Lakeland, about halfway between Tampa and Orlando just off Interstate 4. My wife and I can host/arrange this event.
If we all can decide on an upcoming Saturday, I can route a cruise through the northern Polk County countryside, ending at one of Lakeland's best and most senic parks, Hollis Gardens with a lunch stop at the Garden Bistro.
Please reply with which Saturday in February you can make it. I would think of meeting around 11:00 am. The cruise would be somewhere around an hour. Then lunch and time to meet and greet and enjoy the early aftenoon t the park. This way you can have time to get home before dark.
It should be a go if we can get a half dozen or so with good solid interest.

CountryCat here in Brooksville
Check out the "Central Florida Meet" thread for some great photos of our small but fun gathering this past Saturday in Lakeland. Maybe we can set up some other meet and greets in the near future. It would be nice to see some of the other body styles represented.
