Default Leather Dashboard Shrinkage

Is there any business near Pensacola that will repair the leather dashboard on a 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio that has shrunk? I have already taken it to our local automotive upholstery shops, and no one wants to take on this job. They are stating that Jaguar did not leave enough excess, to be able to heat and stretch. Also, the repair shops are stating that the job to peel off the leather and to resew a new piece, would be very cumbersome, because of all the curvatures. Who wants this opportunity to make a new owner of a Jag a very happy new client? Does anyone have a dashboard they would like to sell?

Search the X150 forum. Lots of info here on this fairly common problem. At least you’ll be better informed on solutions should you find a place for repair in the Pensacola area.
