Default Orlando dealership moving

Just FYI, Collier Jaguar in Orlando was bought out and is relocating to somewhere out near Millennia mall.
They were moving the cars out today.

Holy Cow! Just when my XJR had learned the way without driver input. State Road 50 was beating me to death anyway.

They were bought out by the Aston dealer. I haven't been out there yet, but the service department employees stayed on.

Seems strange. The Collier family name and Jaguar in Orlando have been around for many years. If in fact they have sold out and moved on they will be missed by the Jaguar community that they have served and supported all these years. Say it ain't so.

Got a letter notification today that Collier Jaguar is now Jaguar of Orlando and part of Aston Martin located at Millennia Mall. So it's official. That kind of ties in with the set up of Aston Martin Jaguar of Tampa. Time marches on.

Anyway the sent me a $75 service voucher which ain't so bad. Maybe I'll ease on over there and get my tires filled with Nitrogen. Hope the service writers made the cut as they were a couple of bright boys.

If I remember right the backer of the new dealership has ties with Orlando Infiniti and doesn't own 100%. Collier family still owns 51% but the new investor got control of running it for his $$$$. Don't know how that works but thatbwhat I had been told by someone very close to the deal. Regardless, nice to see the dealership up and running ..old location was in horrible part of town and dying. Intersting that jaguar will be in with Aston and Lotus.

Holy Poop! I just took a look at that service voucher from Jaguar Orlando again. It's not for $75 it's for $750. I don't care who you are , thats real money.

As a follow up to my follow up--- that "prefered customer" $750 service voucher from Jaguar Orlando allowes a 12% discount on service and parts purchases up to a max of $750. I don't feel so "prefered" now. To get the full benefit of my discount card, all I have to do is spend $6,250. I wonder if they know something about my transmission I don't.

Still, 12% is better than nothing and the full $750 applies to the purchase of a new or used Jag.

Not a big loss, I never liked the *********** after my 3000$ bill for some valve cover gaskets and installation, most expensive oil change in my life, power steering hose and installation, plus diagnostics that didnt show anything wrong that came out after I got home. I'd rather stick with All Jar, inc.

I'd never go to a dealer for servicing. I've heard way too many horror stories. With regards to the old owners, my friend was/is a personal friend of the ex owner and never had any service issues. It's always important to know whose doing the work on your car so they don't 'find' anything extra that happens to be wrong.

I visited the New Jaguar of Orlando, formerly Collier Jag, now part of Aston Martin of Orlando. There was not 1 Jag on the showroom floor - just Astons. There were a number of new Jags parked outside and mixed in with used inventory. One hopes they are really serious about the Jag business.

It's certainly in an up scale location (Millennia Mall) and the facility is great, if not too large. The service area looks like an operating room and plenty of Jags were in for work. The service writer staff survives.

There is some sort of Collier connected speciality auto sales and service operation on going at the old East Collonial Drive location. The facilities are outstanding even if dated. Hope they do well as we can always use more independant Jag service shops in Orlando. This makes only 2 that I am aware of.

They rotate cars on the showroom often. Last time it was all astons and the time before two xk's were in the mix..

About All Jag, I agree. They have my business...great group of guys
