Report on The 28th Annual All British Field Meet and Autojumble and TBBCC Events
Tampa Bay British Car Club Members and Friends:
The 28th Annual All British Field Meet and Autojumble is now in the books. 244 Car were registered and thousands of spectators crowed Main St in Safety Harbor. The weather was prefect, cool and not a cloud in the sky. The Tampa Bay British Car Club win Club Participation, again for the 5th year in a row. Many members took home trophies and a great time was had by all attending.
I wish to thank those who volunteered at the Silent Auction booth: Mike Lunsford, Carl Mussion, Mike & Teri Milligan, Carl & Donna Tela, Carol & Jim Ashworth, Bob Patrick, Barbara Livingstone, Steve & Jane Peterson, John Johansson, Bob Lindstrom and The biggest Thanks to my Co-president and wife Fiona.
And also a thank you to those that came early (7 AM) and helped the Austin Healey Club with parking, Clive Stewart, Ted Badger and Doug Folker
The St Petersburg Yacht Club Vintage Motor Classic is November 9 in downtown St Pete. This is always a great show with fantastic cars and venue. The British Cars are always well represented. Fiona and I are planning to attend. See you there
There are still a few spaces left for the Dade City Drive on November 15. This is a great drive thru the back roads of Florida, some nice rolling hills and twisty turns. About 75 Miles and shorter route home. The Drive will be RSVP only and limited to the first 20 cars (No exceptions). Lunch will be in Date City at Kafe Kokopelli (very cool Restaurant). The Florida Suncoast MG Car Club is holding Jamboree 19 on the weekend of November 14-16th At Riverside Resort in Homossassa Springs, FL. All British cars (and their owners) are welcomed. Home. This will be a fun weekend with lots of planned events.
The Next Tampa Bay British Car Clubs Burger Quest is November 23 at 1:30 PM at Woodys Waterfront Outdoor Restaurant, St Pete Beach.
The Brits By the Bay Winter Picnic is December 6 at Phillippe Park in Safety Harbor. Starts at 10 AM, food at noon and fishes at about 3 PM. This is our most popular event. Please bring a side dish or dessert. TBBCC will provide Burgers, hot Dogs, drinks and all the fixings. Drive your British Car.
We are collecting toy for Toys for Tots, Please bring a new unwrapped toy.

November 14-16 - Florida Suncoast MG Car Club's Jamboree 19. At Riverside Resort in Homossassa Springs, FL.
November 23 - TBBCC's Burger Quest 1:30 PM at Woodys Waterfront Outdoor Restaurant, St Pete Beach.
November 27 -Happy Thanksgiving, No Tampa Bay British Car Club Monthly meeting.

This service is free to all TBBCC Members.
Non-Member items will be listed here at no charge as a convenience to the Club.

They are located at 7308 Sunset Way, St. Pete Beach. Plenty of parking and seating with outstanding views of the water. Every few weeks the TBBCC gets contacted about a British car for sale.
The Club web site has a "Garage Sale" section , but the logistics of posting a non members ad is difficult and takes time.
So they will be posted here for 2 weeks.
Club Members ads will first be posted here and them on the "Garage Sale" section on the Club web site.
This service is free to all TBBCC Members.
Non-Member items will be listed here at no charge as a convenience to the Club.
However, Non-Members can sell items on the TBBCC web page with a per item fee of $25.00.

To keep a British Car in proper running order, they need regular exercise. What is better than a Rallye or Show. There are several great events in the next several weeks; Pick one, polish the car and have some fun with like minded people.
All the events are open to ALL Clubs, cars and people. Get your classic
car out and have some fun.

be posted to the club Facebook page.

November 9 -Salute To Our Veterans Car Show. 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Hosted by the Tri-City Cruisers, and held at the Bay Pines VA Center, 10000 Bay Pines Boulevard, the show benefits the VA Center Wounded Warriors in St. Pete for needed equipment purchases. November 13 to 16 - Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest, a collector and classic car swap meet, car corral and auction, takes place annually at Festival Park. The event and facilities are located just off U.S. Highway 301 in Zephyrhills, Florida; just north of Tampa.

November 15 - Back after a long absence is TBBCC's The Dade City Drive (Weather permitting). This is a great drive thru the back roads of Florida, some nice rolling hills and twisty turns. This is a European Car Show, last year they had over 1200 cars and a few (5) classic British, lets show then what a Real European Car ARE. Fiona and I are planning to attend.
November 23 - Tampa Bay British Car Club’s Burger Quest is heading outdoors for November. The date is 11/23 at 1:30 PM at Woody’s Waterfront Outdoor Restaurant. They are located at 7308 Sunset Way, St. Pete Beach. Plenty of parking and seating with outstanding views of the water. A fun drive thru the back roads of the Manatee County and Lunch at Woodys River Roo. After lunch we have been invited to tour Slicks Garage, As seen on the HIT Discovery Channel TV Show "Highway to Sell". Always a fun drive and a great day.
