The weather is getting warmer and the summer rains have started to arrive. Lets get those cars out and enjoy them before it’s too hot and too wet.

This past weekend was the Sun n Fun Fly in and car show. There were a few Club members that attended on the Saturday and we had 5 cars attend the Sunday show. There were a lot of planes and it was very cool seeing all the aviation vendors with the specialized equipment. The weather was forecasting rain in the afternoon and all but a few brave souls headed out before the main air show at 3:00. Sorry we missed it, but Robert stayed and took some video of the Thunder Birds fly by.

This Saturday The Florida Suncoast MG Car Club has arranged a Guided Tour of St. Pete’s Sunken Gardens and Lunch at Three Birds Tavern. The guided tour for groups is free with the $6 per person admission. After the morning in the garden, we’ll head down 4th Street to the Three Birds Tavern for lunch, where the menu includes some British pub favorites. This Sunday is Bud Stanley Ice Cream Social. 2 PM. 421 Druid Rd West, Clearwater. Bring an appetizer to share. Ice cream will be provided by the Austin Healey Club. RSVP to Bill Borja 727-442-1842. All British Cars are welcome.
