For those wishing to caravan from the Low Country to Poinsett State Park
The Lowcountry scenic tour will depart from the waffle house in Moncks Corner on Highway 52 (309 N Hwy 52 - see map) about 1045 in the morning and we should get to the park around 1230. This will give us time to meet, enjoy a picnic lunch, take a nature walk, etc
If you are coming from the Lowcountry and will be late please call 803-292-4511

What started as a slightly damp morning quickly turned into a gorgeous Carolina afternoon for the JSSC drive/picnic. The Charleston group met in Moncks Corner SC and took the scenic route along the Carolina back roads.
Not a large crowd today (6 Jags, 1 Land Rover and 1 Miata as his Jag was elsewhere) as I think the weather threat scared most but a great afternoon for those who attended. Myself, RRT and Jaglover02 represented the forum. Pics below - great venue.
