Default Anyone going to Arlington Nat. Cemetary this weekend?

I am doing my annual pilgrimage to Arlington National Cemetery. I am more than likely looking at going through there on Sunday. BUt, if if the weather is going to be bad, more than likely Monday then. If anyone is looking to make the same trip, let me know and we can meet up. I will probably spend part of the day doing the National Mall too. We'll see.

I'll probably end up at quantico (personal reasons for that). I feel like traffic is going to be horrible this weekend for dc. Are you going to drive in, or take the metro?

On a side note, take a lot of pictures, I haven't been to arlington in forever. It's absolutely beautiful there.

bryce, I am thinking that this year I am going to take the metro in. Park over at Branch Ave and then ride in from there. parking in the past isn't bad if you get there early. But, if you wait, well, you will be waiting. Depending on how things go, I am looking to get there in the morning, walk Arlington for about 4 hours or so, then make my way on to the National Mall and see what happens then. wanting to get some sunset pics and possibly some more night time shots of DC and the National Mall.

Thermo, I'm not going there, but having been there twice and want to make return trips, I wish you well on your trip. Arlington National Cemetery is the jewel of a DC area trip in my opinion. My favorite is RFK's white wooden cross, the only non standard headstone in the cemetery as I recall. Moving. The boxer Joe Louis is buried there too.
