Headliner repair in NoVA?

I have a MY97 VDP that needs the headliner replaced. Quotes around town so far have ranged from $380 - $700. The high-end quote was for removal of the windshield, since apparently you cannot get the board out through the doors. All others said they would only replace the sagging area, which sounds like only a temporary solution.
Anyone else have their headliners replaced? Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Update:
Finally bit the bullet and had the headliner replaced this week through a vendor that works with my local Jag dealership. My Jag service rep got me $200 off the regular rate so I paid $500 instead of the $700 I've been quoted around the area for total replacement. (Some shops will only replace the section that's sagging for about $200.)
Looks great, smells new, and I can put my stapler back in my office. :-)

I recently bought a 2005 s type. The headliner was sagging in the back. Got quote from dealer $700 and private upholstory guy, recommended by another dealer, $350. They told me the old had to be removed and the panel above scraped before installing new. I figured no harm in trying to repair myself. Got some 3M adhesive for headliner installation from the local parts store, peeled back the headliner from the rear window and vacuumed the loose "stuff" off the fabric. A little messy but not brain surgery. Didn't try to be perfect, but got most of the old stuff off. Sprayed the new adhesive liberally and smoothed the headliner back in place with my hands, voila, looks really good. Took a total of about 1.5 hours and $17 for the adhesive. I got the headliner dirty in a couple of places, from the old "stuff" & adhesive, but was able to clean it off with Woolite Oxy Deep carpet cleaner after I was finished smoothing the liner back in place.

Sorry Wld. I guess that came off kinda crappy on my part. Wasn't meaning anything negative about it. I'm just a DIM (do it myself) type person. For two reasons: to save money, and to learn how to do it so that I don't have to depend on other people to do stuff for me. Hopefully I didn't come off as an ***.![Icon Doh](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_doh.gif)
Glad you were able to get it done, anyhow.
